some of them will have lost people during covid, we were all impacted by his decisions as health secretary and there was widespread outrage at his shagging his mistress in contravention of his own party rules. Same old Tories 🙄🙄

has there been a previous contestant who inspired such dislike? It’s all recent history as well. It’s not like he did this 20 years ago. He was health secretary up until reasonably recently. People don’t forget. And camp mates, for all they’re ‘celebs’ they’re normal people as well. I don’t think in that situation I’d be able to conceal my dislike of him. And I appreciate that dislike would be based on ‘Matt Hancock Health Secretary’ and the decisions he made in that role and not ‘Matty all round swell guy from the Home Counties’ (no idea where he’s from 🤷🏼‍♀️) but that would be my instant gut reaction to him and I don’t think I’d be able to get past that.

I imagine owen won’t know who he is so he’ll probably be mates with him but the likes of Chris Moyles, I’m not sure they’ll be able to hide their distaste. I wouldn’t want to be in a jungle with him.

Chris has body dysmorphia, I think he comments on his weight so much because he needs to remind himself that he’s not that person any more.

but they are all prob well paid and during covid wouldn’t have struggled with income or losing their home and not eating etc

so I don’t think there would be the dislike compared to us the average joe bloggs who struggled via covid or even. Still struggling now with rising mortgage rates , food, gas and electricity and petrol /diesel as the basic 4 increases

and no amount of money can make up for the loss of a close family member or friend. And they aren’t so rich that they can ‘take care of their friends’ so they are shielded from the realities of cost of living etc so unless they have the empathy depth of a puddle I bet most of them can understand that while they may be in a more privileged position the pandemic was a hard time and Matt Hancocks government and in particular his handling of many things did not help. Many of them will have nurses or doctors or care workers as relatives. I wouldn’t be so sure on that position of, they’re rich so they don’t care.

Looking at old pictures of Chris Moyles. He was overweight of course. But not that big. Beer belly and fat face mainly.

His legs are tiny now.

I think they should all walk out en masse unless he's removed as they're completely in a lose lose situation.

If they're nice to him, then the public will hate them.
If they're not nice to him, they could come across as bullying him.

Either way, it could be very detrimental to their careers / life after the jungle. Only BG may be fine to do whatever as he's famous / rich enough that I assume he's doing it for the experience rather than any kind of payday career boost.

I actually think it's very unfair that they weren't made aware that he was going in, so they could have decided beforehand if they wanted to be in there at the same time.
