Dozed off last night and missed half the programme!

That submarine task looked really dangerous, the water nearly covered them before they were released, what if the release failed or Chris had doubled up coughing and drawn in more water?

Like the sky walk bungee, they had a body harness but it was only connected by one twist D ring.

I did not like that Drown Under task, I felt very claustrophobic just watching it. I think Chris is doing great, I can’t imagine why he’d want people to be more ‘wowed’ over his weight loss. He lost the weight pre 2015, anyone who has more than a passing knowledge of him knows that. I think sadly (as it is for many obese people - I count myself as one of them) his weight has been a talking point his entire life and he gets in there first before others comment. Plus it’s a huge achievement that others will understandably be interested in. Pre I’m a celeb virtually every newspaper article about Chris would mention ‘the formerly chubby DJ’ or him ‘flaunting his new svelte figure’, it’s a huge part of him and I get that he probably has serious body and food issues, it’d be almost impossible for him not to have tbh.

I thought that task looked horrendous and the water coming up was a deliberate part when they were doing well IYSWIM rather than something they could stop by winning (the girls were not being super slow so not sure it could have been done loads quicker)
I thought BG was a bit mean to Chris when he kept mentioning how he was so fine and so zen in there (I mean he did look pretty calm tbf but it felt like he was saying it to be superior ) He was less zen about the mushroom though! 🤣

I thought BG handled the water task brilliantly, but I would be more like Chris. I could feel his panic!

Totally agree, I listen to Radio x most mornings and he very rarely mentions his weight loss and I've seen lots of comments online from people saying they had no idea he had lost weight either.
As PP's have said he is apparently quite shy off the radio so I think it's just a case of it being the easy thing to talk about to begin with but as he gets more comfortable he will stop mentioning it.

I listen to Chris Moyles 6 mornings a week and have been a fan of his since I moved to England in 2000 and started listening to Radio 1, listening to him on the drive home from work.

He's funny, takes the pee out of himself and overall seems a nice guy. He very rarely talks about his weight and does say how shy he is in real life and what we get on the radio is a persona.

I'm liking him so far but think he seems quite nervous, so I'm hoping he relaxes into it and I end up loving him more (& it's not a case of finding out he is horrible after all!)

Surely with all the therapy George has had he must realise he could just go and ask to help with the cooking. I reckon he's being his own parody and working up to create conflict on purpose.

As someone on anxiety medication, it stops you physically panicking so that may also be why he could cope with the water better than Chris . And also why he kept mentioning it! I spend a lot of my time marvelling at how I cope with situations which would have previously caused me to panic.

Although at the time I did think he was just being a wanker!

I've liked Chris since he did a reality x factor type show and was lovely and hilarious on it, many moons ago. I hated him before but that show won me over to him.

If that's the one I remember, didn't he look visibly shocked at the end that the other finalist won it? I don't think his wide-gobbed reaction to the announcement of the winner's name came across as very endearing - that was a general perception anyway.

Although he may just have an unfortunate 'announcement face'. It could be a nervousness thing I suppose.

We didn't live in the UK when he was in this, so I didn't see him on it at all. Gutted to have missed him on it as he is a very good singer!

Chris Moyles is a very good singer, yes.

A quick google of Chris Moyles and Charlotte Church confirms my low opinion of Chris. I think he’s going to be horrid, but you never know. People surprise you.

I thought the tubes Geerge and Chris were in looked v claustrophobic! not much room to breath at all as the water level was rising! I an not a fan of Chris M! Charlene is bossy she is like that on Loose Women her way or no way....not a fan of hers either. When will they tell us why Olivia left it all seems odd...why not just say? She had all the publicity to go in and got paid so what's up? I did like her. Can't see Matt get a warm welcome lol!

Remember with Chris too he is going on about his weight but maybe he's been asked about it, and maybe he's talking about other things too - we only see what they want us to see.
