Carlos has an abdominal tear and has withdrawn from the tour finals and Davis cup. Needs to take at least 6 weeks off. A real blow for him- but as we've seen with Rafa, really not something he should mess with and he will start next year fresh, and not defending a lot at the start of the year.

It means Fritz, as the reserve, goes to Turin, and I do think that is deserved, he's had a great year and i love watching him play.
