Haven’t been able to watch today but saw Carlos retired, what happened?

Ice Rune was playing the better of the two, but Carlos seemed to be laying catch up in the second set, then he called for the physio and seemed to have an issue with his ribs I think. There hadn't be an indication of this before. They were subbing some cream on at one point. He continuted in the tie break, but then retired-I suppoe he didn't want to take too many risks.

I am looking forward to the Rune/Felix match today- though I have a feeling I might miss it. It should be good. I wonder if Holger will be affected by Carlos retiring- mentally it could have an affect on him. At the same time, Felix was playing a definitely sub par Frances- so maybe they are both going into the match in a similar position?

I want Stef to beat Djok, obviously, but I'm not all that confident. I just keep seeing that evil demonic face . But come on Stef!

One way or another, there will be a Brit in the doubles final, anyway.
