not sure if s2 carries on or completely new story /characters as the names don’t ring a bell

Christine’s family, oldest son Will (Lloyd Everitt), youngest son Jamie (Aaron Anthony) and daughter Megan (Mali Ann Rees), are trying to get on with their lives after the recent tragic death of their brother Liam.

As they look forward to Megan’s wedding, the family have their lives turned upside down when a stranger, Connor (Jordan Wilks), arrives in town claiming a connection that nobody could have imagined.

As buried secrets come to light, they must consider who they are and grapple with morality and divided loyalty. As their lives spiral out of control, a terrible pact may be all that can save them.

the flashbacks totally confused me with seeing Liam shooting up with someone

then seeing him dead on the bed

then baby in Christine’s arms

did she swap them at birth

really haven’t a clue

might need to rewatch it again tonight

think I was tired after iacgmooh

which meant nothing to me

The woman Liam was with whilst injecting is the pregnant lady Christina is supporting.
I guess she set him on that path?
The baby...isn't that hers(the lady not Christina's)

@Blondeshavemorefun, Was Liam not shooting up with the mother of the baby Liam, who Christine was trying to care for while the mother rested in Liam's old room ?
That's how she knew where Christine lived.
And is baby Liam Liam's son.

I seem to remember I found it confusing. Kept having to say to Mr Viper "Is this a flashback?" "Who is that?" "Oh!"

And Mr Viper told me what was happening even though he wasn't actually watching (yeah, right 🙄) but was reading a Henning Mankell novel.

I hate flashbacks in anything - and in this, because the entire programme often seems to be filmed after dark and without the benefit of lighting technicians, it was doubly confusing. The only time I can cope with flashbacks is when people are obviously wearing clothes from a different era, and the music reflects that, otherwise I'm stuffed.

But no - you are not the only one who found it puzzling.

But we're not supposed to understand it all yet.
We don't yet know the whole story

You should hire Mr Viper out to those who need explanations for some of the dramas , he'd make a fortune 😅
