Looking forward to the first episode of the last ever series of Doc Martin. Starts at 9pm tonight on ITV. Anyone else watching?

I had never watched it before but found out it featured the auto immune disease i have just been diagnosed with - myasthenia gravis! I thought Fay Ripley's portrayal of it was really good.

Sadly I didn't have doc Martin in my village though!

My husband is now looking a bit nervous when I head towards the car 😆

I actually really enjoyed it though, lovely gentle TV and the scenery is amazing.

Can't help thinking that there's a 1 at the front of the price that shouldn't be there!

How much for 2 bedrooms?!? 😱 I know we all love Doc Martin but I don't love it that much that I'd spend that sort of money just to live in his house/surgery.

Does it look as if interior shots are elsewhere?

I think that was the first time I've really been bored and disappointed during an episode. Hope they aren't all going to be 'filler' episodes until the finale. I've been re-watching the earlier series and there's a stark contrast in the quality (for me, anyway).

The patient names have been a longstanding joke through all the series apparently, but I'm not sharp enough to spot them!
