I find Alfie’s character pathetic too. A middle aged man who doesn’t see his kids, lives on a boat, doesn’t work so presumably on welfare, acting happy go lucky and wants to drag his kids and ex wife down with him and remove any stability they have.

If the EE writers were any hood, they could use Alfie as a way of highlighting mental health, depression, ups and downs but then again they have covered that wiith Jean who is a much better actor than Alfie.

Suki has "just" game to Mumbai for business. It may or may not be the same as "gone to Portugal" where the characters go when they need time off 😂
