Gritty is what they shouldn't really be, @longtompot - just nice and soft and melting!

Ahh I thought so @Halsall It was part of a big birthday meal last year, just me and the dh. It was quite awkward actually as the chef came out to chat to us whilst we were eating! Felt a bit like Fawlty Towers, but without the chaos, but he was French.

Anyway, the right one went and I thought he was doing so well. I really do like Lesley. She seems so genuine and lovely. I don't think she will go very far but she is nice to watch. I also wondered about Jimmys black gloves. I thought they were going to melt to the pan when he was trying to sort out the folded pancake.

Just caught up. There was some dreadful food in that last round. Lesley's cooking fell apart
