Even the house looks a bit boring, though it is a change to have a fairly normal looking house in a drama series

I'm watching it slightly delayed, so about 20 minutes behind everyone else. I've been married for 24 years and if this is depiction is typical of what most long term marriages are like then I'm feeling very fortunate. They are both terrible communicators with a minimal sense of humour.
