It’s hardly gripping at the moment. It’s quite dull. I gave up eastenders for poor storylines.

Summer's supposed to be a smart girl. I find it hard to believe she didn't use effective contraception.

Everyone with any opportunity of a brighter future in Corrie is always dragged down from Daniel, to Summer, it’s so predictable, pathetic & boring.

They had a bath together. And so the tall lad's magic seed swam through the bubbly water and landed on the lady's tummy, and then they had a baby. And Holy Billy read the Bible at it.

One might argue that that's a true reflection of life in this type of community. 😀

I'm forever harping on about soaps portraying unrealistic scenarios when ordinary life is actually quite fascinating. Some Corrie writers have the skill to portray that, others try to make 'ordinary' situations interesting by making them farcical - Steve's scaffolding, Mary's amdram histrionics etc.

I'll allow a soap a disaster every now and then to boost their viewing figures. But spare me gangsters and drug barons etc. Lazy writing and unpleasant viewing.

Yet another Summer fuck-up

Don't they normally have a lot of drama when I m a Celebrity is on. Is it on this year?
Nobody on Corrie has mentioned the Queen or Liz Truss.
