Well if Bridget is 34+14 then she is 48. So say he is 25 years older that's about 72. Is that too old?
Yasmeen could be in her 60 with children in 40s and grandchildren in 20s.

eggandonion · 14/10/2022 00:07

Mil was 26 when her dd1 was born, and dd1 had her son when she was aged 24. So Mil became a grandmother at 50.
That lad is now 34, mil is 84. So Yasmeen and her son must both have become parents a good bit younger.
Im scared to google all the ages in case I see a spoiler. I have already seen a spoiler for next week, I can't be doing with more.

My mum became a Grandma at 44.

My cousin became a grandma at 39, her mum was a Great Grandma at 54!

My friend became a Grandma at 35ish. (Might have been younger, I'm not quite sure) Actually 2 of my friends did thinking about it.

Does anyone else think the timeline is a bit odd in the Stu storyline? If the murder/manslaughter happened 34 years ago, how old was Bridget supposed to be - and how old does that make Stu? Adjusting the timeline by five years or so would have made much more sense.

I think the trolling storyline is a bit overplayed too. Isn’t it really easy to find out a local councillor’s home address? Why is Maria in such a panic it’s been ‘revealed’?

I thought Stu referred to 24 years in prison?
So out 2 years ago?
So 26 years-if his daughter was 14/15 she would be 40ish now.
Actress is 38 in RL

Did you see ... that Paddy Bever ... aka Max ... won the rising star award ... at the NTAs last night.

Clawdy · 14/10/2022 08:16

Yes, Max got Rising Star! He looked.....gobsmacked!

More unusual though

Watching now,I'm amazed, why

NCTDN · 14/10/2022 19:22

What a surprise!

Bagpuss2022 · 14/10/2022 19:49

In my opinion he only got it as the other three nominees I had never heard of so people voting will go for the show they know ie Corrie

Where does everyone sleep in Ken’s house? Ken , Steve & Tracy, Amy , Carla & Peter all seem to live there or am I wrong?

It's one of the funniest things about Corrie, having businesswoman Carla shacking up in there. It's like putting Deborah Meaden on Ken's sofa for two years, with a lovely hotel at the end of the road within reach if only she could remember she had this thing called a bank account.

JemimaTab · 14/10/2022 21:00

I’m bored to death with this Stu storyline. It would be much more interesting if he had in fact committed the crime he was imprisoned for IMO. Plus I don’t like how he is quite aggressive towards women.

eggandonion · 14/10/2022 21:29

My husband doesn't like Stu.

Bagpuss2022 · 14/10/2022 22:06

Stu is so ungrateful poor Alia I think he has a nasty side and like a pp don’t like how he treats and speaks to women

JemimaTab · 14/10/2022 22:37

Yes didn’t Ali’s pay thousands to get his records/legal advice too? And now she’s turfed out.

JemimaTab · 14/10/2022 22:38

(Alya I meant - typo).

Oh, he's never bloody happy. He controls through his moods, and so is borderline abusive.

Absolutely!
Oh and all the women running around to clear his name, Dee-Dee lawyering from her parents house and Alya stumping up cash for a private DNA test to clear his name 🙄
Literally 5 minutes later the police arrive no craig?
Of course they do
Utter crap all of it.
Ugh Sally and Tim and all her innuendos
Make it stop PLEASE

lollipoprainbow · 15/10/2022 09:00

It's utterly dire at the moment they need to up their game, Emmerdale is streets ahead with their storylines.

birder · 15/10/2022 09:27

Sally and Tim, I've just realised they make me feel slightly queasy, they certainly wouldn't be plonking themselves at my table while I'm eating.

why did they plonk themselves down at a tiny table when there were empty ones all around? Bloody stupid.

eggandonion · 15/10/2022 09:36

The bistro was fully booked.Debbie said so.

AutumnCrows · 15/10/2022 09:41

Yes, they missed their slot earlier in the empty fully-booked bistro so had to sit with Aggie and Ed and order special off-menu meals, and Tim sent his text to the wrong woman, as you do.

LickThis · 15/10/2022 11:03

I've missed loads of episodes as not near a TV at the moment. Don't think I'll try and catch up going by the comments
