What is your favourite Horrible Histories song?

Me and DD have discovered horrible histories recently and it’s very funny not to say easy on the eyes. The songs are our favourites I think mine is Charles the 2nd King of Bling, though it’s very hard to chose one.

This thread might be the place to say something that has been bugging me for a while. In “New World” they take the mick out of someone who travelled to America with 120 pairs of shoes, as if that’s a silly thing to do. But to me it seems quite sensible- people need shoes and you need a huge amount of infrastructure to make them (established cattle breeding and tanneries) which would take years to set up. So being the guy with 120 pairs of shoes (in a range of sizes) was probably not a bad idea.

Love them all, the DDs (now 20 and 17) have grown up with HH, we still watch them sometimes. I love The Few and the Vikings, but they're all great.

They're all brilliant, but I'd go for the 4 Georges, because it's the one where it went from a funny show to genius 😍

I also especially love Charles II, Richard III and the Vikings. Oh, and the Spartan High School Musical. And Dick Turpin. Argh 😅

I get teary at the last one, the "We're history".

I am in floods of tears. My only child went off to Uni this week. Suddenly remembering all those years of Horrible Histories that were in fact no time at all.

Having watched a lot of them recently a few of them have grown on me. I really like The Blue blooded blues, the Roundhead vs cavillers and the Owen Gyndor ones.
