Yet again I am missing tennis today as I’m at a family event. I did get to watch Katie’s defeat before I left though. Sad she’s out but she really was completely outplayed by Tan.

It’s a shame Katie (and all the others doing well) won’t benefit from any ranking points.

Chessie I've been saying that all week- there have been some good results from lower ranked players who are not going to benefit from the boost. The money is obviously nice but the chance to get closer to automatic qualification for tournaments would benefit them a lot.

Yes Chessie I saw someone commenting to Dan after his loss that it's just an exhibition anyway!
