So why exactly was Phil in prison? Was there a ‘reason’ plus a REASON? What are both the reasons?

Phil being in jail was all to do with Vincent ( Kim's husband ) and the heist and that Aidan ( Irish gangster and I may have spelt his name wrong ! Aiden ? )
Who was around a few years ago.
Howie told the police that Phil was involved in Vincent's death ( he saw something or knew something I think ?) It took a while but eventually they got Phil and he was on a life sentence and wouldn't grass up the others to get out.

EE is certainly back to the excitement of the old days, even though the story line is as far fetched as ever!

Having just come on here Can I just check- on these no spoiler threads, are people sticking to just commenting on episodes as per the scheduled broadcasting? Now that the whole week's episodes go on iPlayer on Mondays, I know quite a few people like to binge watch the whole week. I don't, and I wouldn't want to inadvertently see posts about the whole week's episodes

I don't think they will put all the episodes on again on I player after today ; that was only because it was Wimbledon fortnight they did that.
