I don't know why out of thousands of applicants this is the best they could do.

I admit I haven’t studied LI closely until this year - had only watched snippets - but I imagine they weed out anyone who is insufficiently biddable and willing to be entirely controlled by the producers. So that must exclude zillions of sparky, intelligent, emotionally mature people with decent conversation skills.

I don’t know why they keep putting such young people in there - look how much more interesting the ones 25+ are like ES, Jay even Davide; so much more personality, so few fucks to give, just all round much better telly!
I want to see people who have lived life, travelled, have interesting jobs and who’s entire existence doesn’t focus on how good they look on social media! People who can have a real conversation and have a sense of humour and actually know how to flirt develop real relationships with each other
I’m so sick of watching boring beautiful people say “so how you feeling?” Or “who’s your top three?” Ffs!

I do feel like I’m starting to get too old for it now or maybe the islanders are just getting younger and younger a few years back they have put a couple of early 30s in there couldn’t do that now with a bunch of 19 year olds, people was already complaining about Davide and Gemma...

Agree, late 20s you know a whole lot more about what you want, and what you might settle for, and have lived enough to have enough good stories to see you through the series.

Got to be chunky - narrow heels would get caught in the decking, and chunky tend to look frumpy unless they're high. They only ever seem to wear flats during the day (and not always then)

I wonder if the producers, aware that it quickly became The Gemma Show, told the new lads to avoid picking her. Otherwise it's curious that they didn't even mention her during their discussions about the girls [that we know of]. I mean, they might have said they liked Gemma but she was loved up...but to not mention her at all?

I like Dami very much; he's very funny with his dry comments. But he and Amber don't belong. I'd put him with Paige.

Speaking of Paige, I mentioned earlier that she gave me Amy vibes. Think once she does find someone suitable that she might become quite intense.

I've only just caught up and whilst there were glimmers of promise in that episode it really didn't deliver much overall. They all need a bottle of pino grigio....each....

I love LI, watch it every year but who picked these people this year , there must be so many people applying to go on LI , I know more interesting better looking people in my street ,men are so bloody boring and not one good looking one in my opinion, ES is the only one worth watching

Isn't first look exactly what was on the preview at the end of last nights show?

I thought of Curtis straight away when Andrew started talking in the first episode. Same cheesy, slightly creepy vibe. Tasha is gorgeous but I find her very annoying. Paige and Amber I love and am starting to really like Ekin Su.

Remi is the vest boy by a mile. Luca is a twat, as is Jaques.

I'm not sure she's deliberately spicing things up. She's just different to the other girls because her strategy is to be nice to the boys and to flirt with them. Then she chooses from the several who are interested. Everyone else seems to be sitting back wanting to be run after.

Looks like Jay is adopting a similar approach - both he and Ekin-Su said that they weren't in the villa to make friends with their own sex. Remy similar.

It looked as if there was more fun and flirting on the lunch dates than in the whole of the time leading up to it
