@MondaysChild7 do you think? The way I saw it was ES went over to Amber, poked and prodded her into saying there was an issue then started to cry saying I can’t believe you’ve said that? If I was Amber I’d have been utterly bewildered at how I’d ended up the bad guy in that scenario when I’d just been sat there minding my own! I thought Paige overheard and was like ‘ah fuck we best get over there to dilute this shit’ and it was a positive thing.

I agree with you, ES engineered the whole situation to make Amber look like the bad guy.

The problem with Ekin Su is that she is confrontational and if she feels criticised, she turns it back on the other person. However, Amber is a bitchy, mean girl. The other day, when Danica came in she was like ‘I’m not showing her round’ then when Danica came over ‘ooh hasn’t anyone offered to show you around?’

As I said, I think Paige has an unpleasant side that will come out more. I’ve seen her pulling faces like Olivia from MAFS. But time will tell…

I don't really understand why Jacques had to build up the first kiss moment so much. Paige is very naturally pretty and seems lovely but I'm not sure he really likes her, she could do much better. I think it may well be Amber and Ikenna to leave but it would have been so different if the islanders had voted.

I watched last night's episode and started playing Wordle etc, as I was bored to tears. Am I just getting too old for LI or is it just tedious so far?

And the villa is beautiful, they really should have made more of the old building, rather than gluing on a terrace identical to the previous villa, and hiding the building behind the kitchen area 😖

Es clearly orchestrated an argument with Amber same as she did with Davide it was ridiculous glad Amber kept her cool.

I hope Tasha goes as much as I don't like e.s she brings the drama. Ideally it will be Tasha and Andrew to go.

I 💯 agree with this too. ES was actually really aggressive towards Amber, swearing and raising her voice. Then she was the one who got personal by throwing in (out of nowhere) that Amber was the one not secure in her coupling. I think this was the whole purpose of her going over there in the first place. She wanted to shit stir and make Amber feel insecure about Dami but that wasn’t what the conversation had been about. Then she accused the others of making it personal when they were merely reacting to ES.

I really don’t like the sterile look of the buildings they use. It could just as easily be an entirely artificial film set … wherever. There’s no sense of them being in a particular place.

One thing I’m finding irritating, now that I’m watching every episode, is the awful sound of heels on all the hard flooring. It seems so odd. How would the show be worse if everyone went barefoot? Or at least wore light, minimal footwear.

It’s sad that a person with such a nasty manipulative side is needed for drama purposes on this show about ‘finding love’. Vulnerable people and nasty people are needed to make £ out of it.

I remember watching a series a few years ago and it was very fun.

I know she hasn't been there long but I don't really like Danica all that much. Just listening to her voice when she takes people off for a chat is doing my head in. It's almost like she has a little script she's following - not much feeling in her voice - and how she keeps going on about how 'good looking' people are.

I quite like the Saturday night catch up episode where they show unseen bits. It's more fun that the regular nightly episodes.

not sure if it’s been mentioned on here but I saw on Twitter about Davide and Jacques appearing to already know each other, seems like every year they select a lot of people from the same wannabe influencer circles. I think the show would do much better to have more random members of the public who have applied themselves

The terrace looks like it is made of MDF. There was shot of it last night where it looks like the shows carpenter made it the afternoon before the first show. I wouldn't want to jump up and down on it that's for sure

Dami needs to stop telling everyone else about Amber and tell Amber or that's going to blow up. Although of course Amber could be out - and on the up side if Amber does go out now at least she'll see that Indiya was very straight with him on him needing to speak to Amber first and I like that a lot. It's a bit too clean and tidy if Amber and Ikenna go, ditto Tasha and Andrew going together, so I reckon Jay and Amber, although I'd quite like Amber to stay if her and ES are going to keep butting heads. Ikenna is dull but so is Jay...and Andrew! Can we just dump the three of them instead? Wish they'd chopped two adverts and shown us the result, useless!

Final thought for this post...those giant flipflop/sliders they all wear, are they comfy? Do I need some? 🤔

On the subject of Luca actually showing a bit of compassion and not being that grim recently, I am feeling retrospectively guilty about the title of this thread 😂 So we have 229 posts to come up with the next thread title and I think we should show him some redemption (unless he does something crapola in the next day or so!).

If the islanders voted they'd vote Es and jay to go....I think producers have done it this way to keep es I'm thinking g about it

That was my point really- the traditional/original part of the villa is beautiful, but they've made it look identical to the last one.
That's where Big Brother was good and fresh, as they changed the decor and layout every year

He's trying to engineer 'real love', he can't make his move too fast. It has to be 'meaningful' blah blah. He doesn't have any interest in her at all imo, could develop some I suppose if nobody better comes in but so far his options are Paige or Danica who are both similar look wise.

I personally think he and Paige are well suited. I can't see the attraction of either of them in either looks or personality. DH thinks Paige is very sexy. I cannot see it at all.

I'm gutted that Luca and Jacques weren't in the bottom 3 boys. Absolutely gutted that people rate them so highly but then I don't really fit the typical LI viewer demographic . Can't bear either of them.

I know Luca was civil on his date with Damica but that was after Dami told him to pull himself together and stop sulking. Someone probably had words with him about how he'd come across if he carried on in the same vein. I don't see why he's getting heaped with praise for basically acting like a decent person instead of a prize arse.
