But already I'm remembering what I found so frustrating about the show last year - that it's more or less impossible for a newcomer to stay in. The original cast seem to feel they own the place and if they get uncoupled will pick someone "as a friend" to keep them in. They're all too scared to let one of the oldies go, or too scared to randomly pick someone in another couple (like Danica did) and too content to just trundle along doing just enough to stay in the villa.

That put me right off too - completely gross.

I really like Dami, I think he's the most secure one there I remember him saying he kissed his male friend once and all the other lads found it hilarious for some reason and he just said he didn't care and would do it again.
Still can't make my mind up on Andrew, is it lack or air time or lack of personality but I just cant get a read on him, don't think Tasha is into him though.

Danica talks to much think that will put ppl off they should have put another 27+ in. I also think Luka knows who Gemma's dad is and that's part of the attraction.

Can anyone tell me who Gemma sounds like? It's driving me insane. From day 1 her voice has reminded me of someone but I can't put my finger on it!

Iain Stirling used to be so funny - but the things he says now just aren't funny. Or maybe I'm just losing interest in all this 😕
It kind of feels like they're a power couple and believe their own hype or something. I saw that Iain will be the voice-over on the US one too 😕

I was really shocked to find out on the app that Luca is way more popular with the public than anyone else!

He's so annoying and absolutely knows who Gemma's dad is as he kept bigging up how into football he was when they first got together.

For that reason they're just going to be a very boring couple for the rest of the show - his head will never be turned and she can just relax and sit it out now.

I think Amber was interested in Jay. He told her on the three people date that she was the first person who he noticed when entering the villa and he couldn't stop looking etc.

Eki Sue basically declared Jay her interest and said it was only fair because of her age.

My best guess is that this annoyed Amber but it hasn't ever been said

@marmiteadict that seems likely. I thought it was a bit much ES basically saying to Danica last night to back off the older guys as it's a much smaller 'pool' of available guys for her and only fair! Now I get it at 28 I would not want to be with a 22 yr old but she went on the show knowing most contestants are early 20s.

I've liked Gemma from the start and don't get the rep she has on SM. To me she seems reserved/ quiet not a stuck of b#ch and def doesn't seem to be rubbing it in ppls faces she has money (saw a lot of memes about her wealth)

I'm guessing the bottom 2 boys and girls will be announced. The boys get to choose which girl will go and visa versa.

My only problem with the islanders choosing is that they are always ridiculously loyal to the original group. Even when there's clearly no chemistry and they are playing it safe (I'm looking at you Ikemna and Amber)

The cynic in me thinks production will look who comes bottom and manipulate the situation to ensure the best outcome for the show

I agree with this ^^ as I said earlier. It makes things very predictable and so far the 2 islanders who've actually been voted out were newbies and I expect it will carry on like that mostly for the rest of the show = boring.

Amber and Indiyah both said lovely things about their boys in the interminable coupling up speeches and then were both bitching about them only an hour or so later! What fakery.

Remi was an absolute snooze fest though so I don’t blame any of them for not picking him and Afia had no connection with anyone as far as we saw.

I like Luca I think he's genuinely smitten not sure Gemma is genuine. Paige is lovely and Davide is funny and ekin sue is growing on me. The rest are more back ground story.

Ooosh that interview with Remi was painful! If he really didn't have that much to say for himself it explains why no-one chose him. Afia however came across really well and think we could have done with her staying in for a bit of personality.

I can't decide whether Luca is playing the game - gone in and done a bit of a Jack/Dani Dyer - stick with her and hope people fall for it.

I wondered if it was agreed they wouldn't broadcast any discussions about MO - so they may well have talked about it but we'll never see it. Bit crap really because we're kind of missing a puzzle piece - that is how people, esp Luka, reacted to it. Perhaps they were forbidden to show it incase people said "who?"!

I was beginning to like ES but now I can’t stand her. She’s so fake. And she totally manufactured that awkward situation when Amber came and sat with them and everyone went quiet. She’s trying to manipulate everyone to her advantage.

That's why we need a big old shake up banger of a casa amor! Possibly a couple of recent ex partners and a couple of really hot and really forward people. Otherwise like you say it's just new people coming and going (maybe getting a week at most). The only other way we get a shake up is if least pop boy/girl aren't actually a couple (say Ikenna goes and Amber goes).

@TitsInAbsentia it was the same the other year when Rochelle humes sister was on. No one said anything. I assume it's part of the agreement prior to signing up.
