I was wondering about Nick’s invitation to Rafa’s academy - maybe it got lost in the post!

Casper is a very polite young man - I was half waiting for Rafa to make an announcement - he seemed very emotional but good to hear that he’s going to carry on - he’s half way to the Grand Slam this year - ok I’ll step away from the gin now but just saying!

Why doesn't Tim take his jacket off?

I'm not sure why he's wearing it- unless it was chilly earlier. He didn't bother with jackets when he was courtside in the US.

Hope everyone has recovered from the final - I’ve just been listening to the Tennis Podcast where they were talking about Rafa having some sort of ablation on the nerves on his foot to stop the pain - if that doesn’t work he will have surgery - poor Rafa - I just that he’ll be able to walk - he’s not even 40 yet

I also saw a picture of him with a birthday cake with olives on it . Now I like cake and I like olives but maybe not together!

I read about his ablation- and that he basically got through RG with injections and a numb foot. He wouldn't consider doing that at Wimbledon though. I

it must have been weird for Rafa not being able to feel his foot! Maybe a bit like having pins and needles!

There's a thread asking people to check their inbox because old messages are reappearing and I had a look. There was one from Private from a couple of years ago but just the heading of the message appeared. I really miss her on here
