I can't see another thread.
I've watched 3 episodes, very enjoyable, quite slow, love the music.

I'm 10 episodes in. It doesn't get better.

I just finished it. I did enjoy it, although not as much as NP which I loved (also loved the book).

I'm not sure about Joe Alwyn casting. I couldn't figure out his acting, whether it was just bad or he was being deliberately super awkward and demonstrating the effects of the character's MH struggle. Feel a bit sorry for him that it will be inevitably compared with Paul Mescal's performance - I thought he was amazing.

I thought the sex scenes were good and I think it's nice to see sort of realistic sex on screen. Would love to know how Taylor feels about all this - love her song Illicit Affairs 😆

Also liked the period pain stuff. Agree with someone upthread about the news she gets at the end, not sure why that was so pivotal. I wonder if that was clearer in the book. I also wonder if there was something lost from the book about conventional relationships/ monogamy which seemed to vaguely become a theme in the last few episodes.

Thought the actress who played Bobbi was v good but didn't get the relationship between her and Frances at all, would say more but don't want to spoil!

None of them likeable but Melissa grew on me.

Is the ending of the tv series the same as the book ?

Dreadful, seriously dreadful. Don't spoli your memories of Normal People.

Watch something else. Hacks maybe.

Not to derail but Hacks is superb. One of the best shows I've watched this year.

It's a complete waste of time.
But I didn't like Boring Normal People either.
Thought they were both crp.
One slightly more crp than the other.

I'm actually enjoying it. The slow pace us suiting me as don't have the energy for much else!
