Zac and Nancy are opening a restaurant. They have done a deal (helped by Linda) on a unit. They had an appointment to sign contracts and pay a deposit. Janine inter stepped the agent and got a friend to pretend to be her and persuaded Z&N to pay £50,000 as 2 years rent in advance to beat a fake "other offer".

Janine told the agent that she was Nancy and that they were pulling out of renting the unit.

janine got £25k to pay off Linda (alongside a mysterious £25k she already had) and Janine's friend took £25k as commission.

linda is now denying all knowledge of the £50k Janine paid her to leave.

Thanks soup. Was a tad confused. Where did Janine get money from ? I thought she was on her uppers not long ago !

I'd love it to end up with Janine being found out but Linda has Nancy's money and Janine knows it so she has the upper hand ... again!

Tbf Nancy's life on Albert Square is tragic.
