Linda’s entire situation is just so sad. We all know Janine is the bitch of all bitches but, to stage a car crash to make it look like Linda was driving, knowing that she’s an alcoholic so therefore the circumstances surrounding the crash would be believable, is just abhorrent.

True, but I feel the difference is that Gray was a serial killer. Much like with Lucas, they do like to drag these storylines on forever because they’re exciting.

Whereas Janine is a long-standing character in EastEnders so while I think it will definitely be dragged on to a degree, it won’t be for long. And even if she does end up having to leave with her tail between her legs, unless Charlie Brooks announces that she’s leaving EE for good, she will be back.

She’s an excellent character. I hope they don’t get rid of her for good.

It's vague and I'm usually wrong , I think that Shirley blames Sharon and the Mitchell's for the reason that Tina was killed by Gray ?
I think there is a link there but the actual details I'm not sure of , Ian Beale was involved too.
She has never liked Sharon because Phil ditched her to marry her instead. She then tried to shoot him.

I think Shirley thought Tina went on the run because the police accused her of trying to kill Ian when it was actually Phil..? I can’t remember, there were so many attempts on his life including the poisoning by Sharon. So while Tina was “on the run” (but actually dead) Shirley was desperate for Sharon to tell the police it was Phil which she eventually did

But then Tina’s body was found so it was too late and all Sharon’s/the Mitchell’s fault. Something like that.

Yes, it took me a while to remember why she hated him and it's because Tina was accused of trying to kill Ian when it was Phil & Sharon.
