Jessie Wallace ( Kat) was arrested on Sunday being drunk and disorderly at a nightclub!

This seems to happen pretty frequently! I’ve met several members of the Eastenders cast in the past and they all seemed so similar to their characters I don’t think many of them are actually ‘acting’. I think Jessie/Kat falls into this category😂

My ex said Charlie Brooks attends his health club (David Lloyd) but she blanked him when he tried to say hello and he was most put out and said she was rude! why on earth would she speak to someone she doesn't know?!

I'm sure I've either seen or heard that Charlie Brooks used to have lunches round the back of Selfridges in cafes/bars etc.

Dean Gaffney if anyone recalls him used to be very well known for being drunk and pulling anything that moved near where I lived in Croydon in 90s!

I saw Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) was playing in Bromley Civic Centre in some play recently but no way I'd pay to see it!

A friend rented a property in North London owned by the woman who played Mel. He met her a couple of times but had no idea who she was. He is not from the U.K. and had never heard of Eastenders either😆. I’ve seen Phil in Highgate, Big Mo (very friendly) and Kim (very funny IRL as well). I’ve read Ben is as unpleasant IRL as he is in the show!

My ex (before I knew him I knew this!) told me that Perry Fenwick (Billy) lives in Muswell Hill and so do a few other characters. He also told me that he knew the cage fighter Alex Reid (gym?) and said he was really nice!

I've got no idea if Perry's friendly though! Phil is supposed to be nasty IRL as is Ian Beale. Kim is such a laugh, it'd be a pity if she wasn't nice!

I still don't get personally why some soap opera actors (or others) are so nasty, they're in a soap opera, not an Oscar winning film!

DB's currently working with Bradley Walsh on The Larkins and says he's lovely and very funny as is (offhand) Damian Lewis (apparently a lovely, lovely man) in some spy thing he worked on last year, with Guy Pearce (also nice) etc but says Dominic West isn't nice (in same drama series). SIL also met Dominic West due to filming for/near her work which isn't film related and said he wasn't nice.

Kat was in a play near my DHs pub for a week a while ago. She was in the pub every night after the play ended & was a total nightmare. Rude to staff & customers and basically acted like a total arse. They were glad to see the back of her.

I once had the dubious pleasure of being chatted up by Dean Gaffney at the blue orchid in Croydon - he was an utter sleeze (happy to say I had much better taste!)

Someone I used to work with had a relative working in hospitality at the EE studio and had nothing but good things to say about Tameka (Kim). As delightfully bonkers in RL as on screen apparently.

Yes I think a lot of the cast live in Highgate/Crouch End/Muswell Hill. I’ve heard Phil is deeply unpleasant IRL, my friend wanted to ask for his autograph when we saw him in Highgate but I was too scared to go anywhere near him😅 I randomly saw Perry Fenwick in Hoxton Market once and he seemed lovely, stopped to chat with everyone.

I've seen Nick Cotton a few times as he lives not far from me. Not talked to him though.
