DOCTORS- Patronising Princess is causing trouble at'Mill - and will we ever find out what happened to Dr Ashdown?

In answer to the question- probably not.

But I'm still hoping that we find out Princess was behind his disappearance. The episode with her mother pointed to a shady past.

And the drugs that Heston took were called Viper, i have remembered.
(Kept me awake, that did)

I loved watching it the first time around. Haven't watched the last series of 'Afterlife' yet.

I've been enjoying re-watching '5 Bedrooms' this week, in the Doctors slot. There are 2 further series- not sure if they will be shown though, once this week is over.

Was Sarah in the rubbish 'sitcom' that Ricky's character was making? I vaguely remember it now- they had a catchphrase- or tried to have a catch phrase- but I can't remember it Grin

Are you having a laugh is the Catchphrase, yes she was in it. She was the woman who wasn't Liza Tarbuck in the sitcom! I've never seen five bedrooms so might give that a go. Wish there was more Shakespeare and Hathaway to watch too!

Raahh · 26/04/2022 14:24

I was really sad when I had re-watched Shakespeare and Hathaway for the umpteenth time Grin
Are you having a laugh! That was it. And Liza Tarbuck. It's all coming back now!

Liza Tarbuck should be on TV a lot more. She was brilliant on TaskMaster. Does anyone remember a programme when did way back called Without Prejudice? I think it was on Channel 4.

Sidisawetlettuce · 27/04/2022 15:54

Found this on YouTube.

Raahh · 27/04/2022 16:17

That's brilliant Sid - she doesn't age, Sarah, does she?
I agree about Liza- I loved her on Taskmaster too.

Back on Monday!

Woohoo! Let the drama unfold!

smallandimperfectlyformed · 30/04/2022 22:01

I'm sure it's been mentioned but my oldest was rewatching So Awkward this morning and the lady who played Sutton Vale's dozy receptionist Rosie played an eccentric coffee shop owner Mabel. Reckon she is a bit typecast!!

Raahh · 01/05/2022 21:31

DD1 used to love 'So Awkward'-I don't remember Rosie.

I am very much looking forward to Doctors coming back. I need a distraction- I have dd2's secondary school appeal this week. and I've barely slept since the start of March. Sad

Good luck with the appeal Raahh I'm sorry it's so stressful. I actually found it really sad watching So Awkward because of poor Archie Lyndhurst.

Raahh · 02/05/2022 08:27

Oh yes, Archie Lyndhurst small - that was heartbreaking. Sad

I am up and down about the appeal - I hate stuff like this. Doesn't help that poor dd2 has SATs in just over a week- so it's an extra thing to worry about.

And dd1 has her GCSEs start the week after...

Running away to Letherbridge is looking really appealing! Grin

I'm also quite confused that Doctors is actually back today- since it's a Bank Holiday- and usually they use any excuse to have a day off the scheduleGrin. I really thought for that reason it would be back tomorrow.
Not complaining though.

OP posts:
Raahh · 02/05/2022 13:26

Just to add to my confusion- it starts at 1.30 (which will probably be due to the Bank holiday).

I nearly missed the start Grin

It feels so long since this was on, I had almost forgotten about Scarlett.

Raahh · 02/05/2022 13:32

Molly Parton? Why are all the receptionists bonkers??

Gobby saying Scarletthas a face that could curdle milk? Pot kettle comes to mind. Gobby never smiles! Grin

Who is covering Val's lunch, if they only have Gobby and Val?

Taking on Sutton Vale really hasn't worked out very well.

Raahh · 02/05/2022 13:46

Is this lad taking the 'new drug'? Or something else.

And Hazeem had an 'attitude', and flirted with half the patients. He seemed to get away with anything.

A cure for everything? I bet Emma is really thrilled she's in work today.

Here's Princess, with her 2 facial expressions. Frowning and gurning.

LIZS · 02/05/2022 13:50

What is Princess wearing?
