3andnomore · 20/01/2008 23:30

rofl

can I just say, that obviously I only mention the mummy penguin incident, because it was quite funny really...and there are no hard feelings...

I suppose one really does have to bear in mind that they will cut things together in a way, that it reflects what they want to portray....

who is pretty-boy couple's dad? it is driving me mad!!!

expatinscotland · 21/01/2008 23:26

Nathan is so far beyond immature.

Those hoods!

3andnomore · 22/01/2008 13:19

Anyone watched last night....I thought muhammad and his gf did actually quite well...and how cute was that little boy they looked after... absolutely adorable.

Thought after a rocky start Amy got it together in the end...

Lauren and Sam...well....at least they didn't have the parents complain, eh...

Oh 3andnomore, damn your memory woman!! I probably didn't apologise at the time, so I apologise now. You took it really well, I do remember. Had it been my child that my comments were made about I would have been on here shouting the odds. And believe me, mine are whiny and annoying a lot of the time too! My 8 yo is especially at the moment and it's bugging me!!

It's so easy to comment on something you see on TV without realising that there's a lot of upheaval that is going on behind the scenes.

Thanks for being so gracious

RTKangaMummy · 22/01/2008 19:40

pretty boy's dad is the dark haired PSYCH bloke off Telly

3andnomore · 22/01/2008 21:02

lol Mummy Penguin...please don't worry about it, lol...like I said, I thought it was quite funny

We all comment...and the way things are shown are not always the way they happen, but unless you know better, you can only take it at face value....

It just stuck in my head, because I like your user id

I've tried to change my username but we've changed email address since I registered with MN and our pc can be temperamental at the best of times and it doesn't want to know! So I seem to be stuck as a Mummy Penguin!! I was going through a penguin (bird not chocolate) phase when I picked this name.

MummyPenguin · 23/01/2008 09:53

What did we think about last night's instalment then? I missed about the first 10 minutes of the programme. The teenagers dealing with teenagers. I can't really comment on how they got on with that, it didn't seem as thought provoking as the babies/toddlers/young kids.

I thought it was a bit silly the way the situation with Zen and Jason's relationship was being dealt with. It was almost as if it was being portrayed as a marriage break up! At the end of the day, they're 16/17 year olds, they were probably going to break up at some point anyway. I felt sorry for Zen though. Then at the end Jason saying to his Mum "I'll ask her for another chance." That lad clearly doesn't know what he wants.

Also sad when Lauren's Mum was talking about the Daughter she lost who was seriously disabled, and she was crying.

expatinscotland · 23/01/2008 23:17

How awesome are Joe and that girl ith the long blonde hair?

OMG, they're every parents dream: kind, compassionate, mature, loving.

they'll be together forever.

i think it happens for some, my grandparents, for example. 'see that lady over there in the cherry print dress? well, i'm going to marry her.'

but i think it's really lucky for the parents, too, when the parents see that happen for their children.

RTKangaMummy · 24/01/2008 15:43
