I don't understand how Yas could behave like that if she is actually friends with Inga, Tristan will probably be fine with Sam under some weird bro code type rule!

user1471543094 · 17/08/2023 16:36

Yas and Tristan was about a 4/10 bad form - I believe her that her and Liv weren't friends, Liv wasn't there, holiday vibes etc. Plus I think Tristan is hot, so, fair play.
I personally wouldn't risk Liv coming after me as she plays dirty but thats a different story.

Yas and Sam Prince is 9.5/10 bad - He and Inga had literally broke up a matter of days beforehand, Inga was there, they were mates, Yas had been sleeping with his mate. Plus I don't understand what sort of charm SP has in order to land such amazing women whilst looking so like Judy Murray/Paul Young/Weird Chandler.
Half a point off as they are both technically single but if you have to say Technically for anything then you're clutching at straws.

The 2 things happening in such a short space just outs them off the scale altogether!

Yas reminds me of Raquel from Vanderpump if anyone else watches - seems harmless enough, if a little on the bland side, but just absolutely buzzes from any male attention with no regards to other females. Would really need to do a bit of work on her self worth.

Jekiffe · 17/08/2023 18:20

I think Willow and Bella are very clever and beautiful and I hope they will continue not to let the show play them. They’re creative professionals and not just socialites. I hope they come out of the show in time and go on to do something amazing after using this as a launch pad.
Sam Prince completely baffles me. Just like Julius there’s just no comprehension of it. Desperately unattractive childlike personality and gross behaviour.
I don’t see Temps or Harvey as a catch either though Harvey seems marginally more in touch with his feelings despite being so guarded usually. Imogen seems quite emotionally up and down and I worry about people like that being on reality tv. It must be such a massive head fuck to do that job.
Tristan seems more of an adult which is a relief to see in that circle but he felt like a dad figure with Yas. Very off pairing.
I like Liv, she’s such a great character, I really hope she is happy in the end. I worry about Yas, as always the girl cops so much more flak in these situations. She was single, and she seems really young and persuadable and probably doesn’t have great self esteem.
I hope Joel and Geronimo get together, they are both great. Robbie and Joel are hugely mismatched in life experience and Robbie should be single for a bit, play the field and have a chance to mature.

Glassalmostfull · 17/08/2023 21:44

Just watched episode 4. Think that was the most raw MIC has ever been. Really felt for Inga. Well remembered previous poster, Liv did get off with Sam when he briefly split from Inga! Did they sleep together?! Of course that’s not as bad as was Liv for some reason.
They all snake each other, I can’t keep track of who are genuine friends with each other. If I was them, I wouldn’t do or say a word for fear of it getting broadcast to everyone!

DaggerIsle · 17/08/2023 22:31

Episode 5- Sam Prince actually has the nerve to tell Harvey he doesn't want people to feel sorry for him! Wish Harvey had told him no-one did but everyone thought he was a twat

DaggerIsle · 17/08/2023 22:54

Please, put that nipple away... 😂😂😂

Jekiffe · 17/08/2023 23:17

I have questions…
Geronimo talking London three-way, is he coming to Chelsea? (Which would be great!)
Why are the producers making so little of Imogen going home and her and Temps breaking up? That worries me for all of the reasons I said above. Hope she’s OK.
Not a question but I appreciate them showing Bella’s maturity in saying that everyone has turned their backs on Yas, this is wrong, she’s really young and now since everyone has done that, of course she’s off with Sam Prince.
He’s still absolutely baffling and gross IMO.

lightisnotwhite · 17/08/2023 23:21

I’ve just done 4. Great episode but confused by who Yaz actually likes. Her body language was all still for Miles a few weeks ago.

Really it was Ruby (and her vocal fry) giving me the rage. I hate the way she’s got the job of message runner between people. The whole backward glare when stalking off with Liv, the bleating on at Yaz over the table and then crying on Inga’s behalf . So ridiculous. Nothing to do with her. This time last year she was calling Inga “thirsty and desperate” so her whole performance is a crock. I guess she knows without any prospect of a love interest her days on the show are numbered, so trying to stay relevant.

DasAlteLeid · 17/08/2023 23:31

I feel like I must have a different set of eyes to the MIC chicks!! Temps has a head like a wooden spoon and a chin like Lembit Opik, not to mention that atrocious bleached ‘do. Excellent description of Princey as Judy Murray et al. Just generally looks like a mulleted crone! When Rez is out of bottom place for least attractive male you know the bar is low.

Speaking of unattractive, Robbie is about as sexy as a rice pudding. Geronimo and Joel need to lambada off in to the sunset and leave old brylcream bonce to his own devices.

Too many big fake boobs distracting me in Corsica too. Ruby AKA Booby, Liv, Imogen…. Miles 😆

MarshaBradyo · 17/08/2023 23:35

Incoming Storm Bentley made me laugh. She is full on aggressive and not looking great

I find the Robbie Joel constant journey chat so dull

Ruby is annoying

MarshaBradyo · 17/08/2023 23:48

Bloody hell the dinner party

user1471543094 · 18/08/2023 09:18

I also find the Robbie Joel stuff v boring- despite the attempts at them trying to be wildly exciting. They tried the 3some stuff before and it didn't work out because Robbie is obviously more into it than Joel is. What made them think it would be different again?

I admire Bella's concern for Yas and claiming "everyone turning their back on her" but from what has been shown she has made absolutely no attempt to make amends in any way - She hasn't contacted Inga (and in fact had been ignoring Inga prior it coming out about her and Sam and then blaming Inga for it), she never tried to speak to her "besties" Ruby and Miles, and just hid herself away from everyone with Sam.
Not sure why anyone should be running after her whenever she is one who has done wrong.

I liked Miles' speech at the end actually.
But agree with PP, if Yas had a sniff with Miles then she would be away like a shot.

Also Miles kissing Willow was an attempt at splitting up her and Harvey so that Imogen would try it on with Harvey again and then Temps would dump her. He is so sneaky.
To me its the only reason he would make a play for Aunty Willow.

Jekiffe · 18/08/2023 09:30

Errr firstly Liv looks great all the time.
Secondly no idea what you’re on about with that ‘Aunty’ jibe. Willow is 22 one of the youngest cast members, she’s only 3 years older than Freddie Knatchbull. Yas who comes across very young is 24.

Wishimaywishimight · 18/08/2023 10:03

I have come to quite like Bella, she is quite mature compared to the rest of the crew and the only one to try and see all sides of the situation.

I think Yaz is still hung up on Miles. Could she be trying to show him how attractive she is to the other guys in order to peak his interest again? I'm not entirely sure she's failing either!

Not usually a fan of Miles and his treatment of his many (many!) women however I am enjoying his complete bafflement at what Yaz sees in Princey - it looks so genuine (and is so understandable).

Harvey is so dull, he has no expression, everything is just uttered in a totally deadpan fashion. A 'vanilla' personality indeed.

Willow I find painful. Apart from that dreadful voice, she is so so keen to assure Harvey how 'chill' she is, how easy going etc etc yet she clearly wants something more and was perhaps hoping the kiss with Miles would get Harvey a bit worked up. Some chance. He took the news with the same "so what" / nonchalance he approaches every situation. Apart from anything else, a kiss from Miles is quite meaningless. He would kiss (almost) anyone who stood still long enough.

I had grown to quite like Yaz. She always seemed so vacant in the early days but has developed more personality. She seems totally oblivious though as to why getting together with Princey immediately after his break up was a source of pain to Inga (her friend!)

Temps really is the oddest looking creature. More cartoon character than human.

Rez still looks like he has emerged from a fire and is still melting.

user1471543094 · 18/08/2023 10:05

I am aware that Willow is young - but to me she has a real mumsy/old fashioned look about her.
Certainly not Miles' usual type.

MarshaBradyo · 18/08/2023 10:10

Totally agree Miles was being his usual sneaky self. He doesn’t fancy Willow at all

It’s a bit off that it led to her saying she’s finds Miles attractive

Yas, well it wasn’t great but I much prefer her to screeching Liv and Ruby

I do feel for Inga though, she was very hurt

I don’t rate Harvey but he responded well to the party chat saying just squash it

The producers must have felt they got a Truman show tear level with that dinner party

Yes, she has the face of an older lady, albeit a very pretty one! Absolutely zero sexiness though.

sashagabadon · 18/08/2023 16:52

Yas can have quite poor taste in men I think. She’s very easily flattered. Remember that weird working class bloke she brought back from some trip about 6 months ago? He was so not her type and everyone could see it. She did dump him but what was that about?!
she is beautiful and does seem to have self confidence and can stick up for herself so I don’t understand her thinking!

sashagabadon · 18/08/2023 16:57

Miles is so all about the chase. That is literally it. Minute he finishes the first date it’s over for him and he has moved on.
I’m still cross at him flying an Australian girl from married at first sight over from Melbourne or somewhere and then literally ghosting her after one date ( shag) and not contacting her again. That was exceedingly poor behaviour.

MarshaBradyo · 18/08/2023 17:08

Jane is very attractive

He always treats them the same way

Poor tall young guy whose name escapes me who fancies her

I don’t think she reciprocates

DaggerIsle · 18/08/2023 17:52

Jane is giving me Mimi vibes.

Barleymilk · 18/08/2023 19:17

Is the young tall guy called Fred? The one 1000 in line to the throne?
I think he is the nicest of the lot. Hope he finds someone after not getting anywhere with Jane.

sashagabadon · 18/08/2023 19:26

Fred is vv young though. I think 18 or 19. His grandfather is Louis Mountbatten iirc. Prince Charles mentor and the man who suggested he marry Diana. He was murdered by the Ira in a boat bomb in maybe the 80’s.

adriftabroad · 18/08/2023 22:34

DaggerIsle · 18/08/2023 17:52

Jane is giving me Mimi vibes.

Yes!

Jekiffe · 18/08/2023 23:22

Wow I think your face radars are broken people, sorry. Willow is gorgeous, Liv is gorgeous, Jane is extremely plain in comparison. If you stood her next to Mimi while I see a kind of vague resemblance she is not as attractive as Mimi was either.
Miles is just parody Lothario wheeling himself out to keep himself relevant
Harvey is unbelievably dull and seems so bored by everything I have no idea why he would want to be doing the show.

I do miss the old days when they used to have a bit more intrigue about other things than who they were shagging. Now the ‘plot’ of the show exclusively consists of dating, kissing, shagging, it’s having to move increasingly fast so you have to have the silly random plot twists from Miles walking up and kissing someone in a club, or completely bizarre unbelievable pairings like Yas having always fancied Sam Prince , and as a show they’re getting through more and more new characters all the time. But they’re not as characters people you really get to know any more. I used to like meeting the mums and dads and seeing their jobs and flats and whatever with the old cast members. Now they’re very much more interchangeable.
