And giant baby born at 24w is now almost 11w old and apparently coming home so is 35w if in womb ………

I thought Lacey Turner was great in this episode. She really is quite a good actress.

I agree. But the actress who plays Jean is good too. They make a great double act imho!

Very believable.

Yeah, people are quick to say shite acting in soaps, and sometimes it is but there are also some excellent actors too.

Mack and mia's dad is a murderer
Their dad murdered Arthur's dad
Albie's dad is abroad
Alyssa's dad died
Stacey has three children with different dads and the only one around is Martin and their Nan is having a huge crisis.
Scarletts dad died
At least Mitch is around for Bailey and Karen's boys live with their one.
Rainie and stuart will be bringing up Bernie's one
Ollies Mum isn't around.
They really do have a bad time of it!

Yes, I've always rated Lacey Turner, she really does show up most of her co-stars when they have scenes with her. Heather Peace though is just as good I think - I find their scenes together really quite compelling.

Nice London's Burning reference from Eve about the fireman's lift the other day too!

I mentioned on the Corrie thread about how very few of the children/teenagers there have both parents alive. I think I worked it out that only Amy Barlow had both parents alive and (miraculously) together (though it's been a bumpy road to get there!!!)

I wouldn't like to live in Coronation St or Albert Square, especially if I had kids! Come to think of it I wouldn't like to work in the ED of Holby City either as the amount of personal tragedy there is very high for one workplace!!!

PS I hadn't seen other programmes that Heather Peace had acted on....when she first joined the cast I thought it was Anna Nolan from BB1!

The ahem Daily fail are saying weight loss but apparently its common to say weight loss etc to account for face changes.
Shes a beautiful woman, I hope she doesnt go down the over tweaked route.

Why is Martin still hanging around with a Sharon? I can understand Zak to a point although why a man would want stay with a house full 2 toddlers at his age? I mean my best mates young brother card only goes so far when you only one bathroom.

I felt really pleased for Dotty that she had finally done something right for once and Kheerat was out of prison because of her (well kind of) so Suki is now on her side. I hope Suki means it, because it will make a huge difference to Dotty. Just as side thing, I love it when Suki says Kheerat - makes you realise how badly everyone else pronounces his name!

I feel she could become a great character in time and I like her straight forwards attitude to things. I bet she'll break Vinnie's heart though!
