Bring back Debs Brownlow - the show just isn’t the same without her…

@BigHairyCoconut

Has Tracy forgotten that she also lived in a grotty bedsit with Craig? I had to laugh when Tracy was going to say that Jacob just wanted to get into Amy's knickers then changed it to 'good books'!
What? When?
beenaroundtheblox · 20/03/2022 13:26

Oh I remember now she lived with Craig and Beth somewhere. For some reason 🤣

BigHairyCoconut · 20/03/2022 14:03

I meant when she was a teenager, she lived with a bloke called Craig and Deirdre kept trying to get her to come home. Mind you, Tracy had a different head then so no wonder she can't remember.

Was that a Chalkie Whitely relative?
Clawdy · 20/03/2022 14:25

Tracy talked about living in a grotty bedsit with someone dodgy, when they were sitting round the table.

WomanStanleyWoman · 20/03/2022 14:34

Different Craig. That Craig was Phyllis Pearce’s grandson.

Tracy’s Craig was a child star before he was in Corrie. He was in a CBBC comedy called Gruey.

She said that was Robert.
eddiemairswife · 20/03/2022 15:12

Poor, unburied Robert.

Deadringer · 20/03/2022 16:26

I vaguely remember Deirdre visiting her in a grotty flat and begging her to come home when she was young and living with Robert, i don't remember how long ago, but iirc he had a long pony tale. It was all very grungy.

BigHairyCoconut · 20/03/2022 16:52

I think Craig was the grungy boyfriend

WomanStanleyWoman · 20/03/2022 16:59

Yes, he was. It would have been around 1993, as I’m sure Tracy was only 16.

Ahh thanks, it all blurs abit 😀
Deadringer · 20/03/2022 18:10

I must have got Robert mixed up with Craig, it was a long time ago.

eggandonion · 21/03/2022 20:17

They have remembered the Co Op.

DahliaMacNamara · 21/03/2022 21:06

I'm still annoyed that ITV showed a clip of Adam's big fall during the break of another show last week. Fucksake.

thenightsky · 21/03/2022 21:10

Oh fuck. I zoned out out totally. Can I have a run down of tonight please? My last memory is something about blonde woman with cancer taking pills in the pub and Adam falling over a railing. Fuck.

DahliaMacNamara · 21/03/2022 21:30

That, and Amy will be working at the florist's with her mum in the morning. Sarah isn't answering her phone to Daniel, so she doesn't know Adam's taken a nasty tumble and is still planning to divorce him.
DahliaMacNamara · 21/03/2022 21:32

Oh, and Maria's cunning plan to stitch up her political opponent, which had me slightly zoning out too. Kelly's mum got off her face in the Rovers, to no particular end.

thenightsky · 21/03/2022 22:09

Missed nothing vital then...

OnTheBoardwalk · 21/03/2022 22:10

Bloke who played Craig was in Corrie and Cracker. Him and his agent used to get proper wound up when they came into a pub I worked in and we kept asking him was he Gruey

He clicked his fingers a lot at members of staff

Honeyroar · 21/03/2022 22:24

Adam’s big hair must surely have cushioned his fall?

WomanStanleyWoman · 21/03/2022 23:09

I don’t like to boast, but I do believe Adam and Lydia’s backstory was exactly what I said it would be Grin

I laughed quite a lot at Adam’s ‘fall’. Not terribly realistic…

Couldn’t Derren Litten get better work than a bit part as a counsellor? I wonder if he’s joining the writing team and is doing this part as a sort of side job.

Wasn't it Bernie (Gemma's mum) that found Rick's watch with a metal detector? With Brian?

And now Laura has hired the PI to look for Rick, so I think the scene with Laura in the pub was just there as a way to get Laura and Bernie to meet, and she'll end up finding out about the watch.

(What happened to the watch anyway? I remember Sarah ending up with it, but did Gary manage to get it off her?)

DahliaMacNamara · 22/03/2022 00:00

Oh, dotty, we're not supposed to give the scriptwriters clues about plotline threads, are we? That's cheating. Though I admit I'd forgotten about the watch.
