I think it was Daniel's phone- it came up as Daniel on Sarah's phone and she said something about not answering as he kept bothering her during the party. Also, I wasn't sure if it was Adam's or Lydia's phone that got smashed up?

Did anyone notice that the rail was the height of his elbow in one shot then down to his knees when he fell over it???

I had also seen a spoiler on the front of a TV mag the other day. Very annoying when I do try to avoid spoilers!!

Beware when scrolling amazon [web] as well. At the bottom of the page they recommend me magazine subscriptions with current soap mag front pages visible. Been caught a couple of times like that.

I think Gary's only hope re Rick is that when the body's found [it will be - soap rule] there's no evidence pointing to him. I've forgotten what happened to the watch too?

I was saying on the Emerdale thread how cross I was yesterday morning,to put on the TV and "Marlon" was on talking about the stroke he was going to have in that evenings episode !

It ruined the episode for me !

Usually the only way killers get away with their crime in soaps is if the victim was nasty, so there may be an 'out' for Gary there. Or Laura might die before being able to give evidence. Ooh - that could be the reason for the Laura storyline.

Am I misremembering the scene where Gary killed Rick? Entirely possible, but I thought it was self-defence. Obviously the bit where he then hid the body and covered up his tracks is less of a grey area.

Oh, dotty, we're not supposed to give the scriptwriters clues about plotline threads, are we? That's cheating. Though I admit I'd forgotten about the watch.

The watch is really the only thing I can remember about the storyline...I can't remember why Gary killed Rick at all!

I don't know why he killed Rick. I don't watch crime drama because I can't follow them
So I zone out a lot in Corrie.

Kelly's mum got off her face in the Rovers, to no particular end.

Wasn't it Bernie (Gemma's mum) that found Rick's watch with a metal detector? With Brian?

And now Laura has hired the PI to look for Rick, so I think the scene with Laura in the pub was just there as a way to get Laura and Bernie to meet, and she'll end up finding out about the watch.

(What happened to the watch anyway? I remember Sarah ending up with it, but did Gary manage to get it off her?)

I think he did, but I can’t remember how. The Rick storyline must be the longest dragged out plot since Phelan! How did Gary get involved? Wasn’t he letting people off that owed Rick money, and wasn’t Rick trying to kill Gary?

Didn’t Gary kill him in defence initially? Can’t remember why he hid the body. Perhaps because he took over the money lending?

Iirc Rick took Gary to the woods to kill him. I think he made Gary dig a grave for himself but i could be mixing that bit up with something else, it happens so frequently on tv. There was a tussle and Gary got the upper hand, it was definitely self defense.

I also have the impression that the body was moved by someone.

Gary was digging his own grave then dog walker went past Rick got distracted then he got him with spade. *or may have imagined it been so long.

I think he did go back and move body later when Bernie found the watch in woods. But wasn’t clear where.

That sounds like a thing that would happen . Imagine so many murders in the past few years, you can't recall who what or why!

Lydia's phone was smashed on the ground and a credit card seemed to fall out of the phone case - guess it is Adams missing card.

Ah, THAT’S the significance of the credit card! I wondered why there was such a loaded look between them when it fell out!

I don’t think his card was missing, I thought she took a picture of it so she could use online?
