Just catching up. I definitely warmed to Kathryn this episode - twice when LS was having a go at Alex about the crab fuckup she stepped in unprompted and said it was the fault of the whole subteam, which was decent of her. Bit curious about the illness that only lasted a day, as I imagine faking a sickie would be quite hard under the circumstances - migraine? Severe phobia of blood?
I know this is really nerdy but did anyone catch the brief shot of Tim's tablet when the non-Alex team were at the hotel? It seems like he and Karren get a list of prompts for consideration - it's a bit blurry but as far as I can make out it says:
- have they packaged the fish well enough to stay within selling temperature?
- are they taking care of their precious cargo?
- as the day goes on how are they feeling about how much they decided to buy? Should they have bought more or less?
- are the team coming up with a plan to sell all the fish by the end of the day? All fish has to be sold today
and then underneath he's noted "The team is not clear on the prices!!" with a bunch of scribbled calculations (presumably relating to something that got cut as there didn't seem to be any price confusion that we saw).
I love that kind of behind the scenes detail and wish they'd include a bit more of it. I'm always dying to know what Karren's scribbling about when she makes those faces!
