As above , SPOILER thread for the new drama which started yesterday on bbc one with Jamie Dornan.

I'm on episode four and it is brilliant.
I just wish he could change that awful t shirt.

You see I loved episode 5, it was such a clever way to tell the story.

I agree! We watched it with adult children and we all loved it, it felt original and fresh, was also darkly funny at times.

I thought it was clever, entertaining and I loved the barren landscapes and western type music. Best thing I've watched for a while.
Helen was definitely my favourite character. I liked how you saw her battling her inner rule follower 😆.
And so glad she got shot of the repugnant Ethan. I liked Billy better even!
It reminded me slightly of a series on Sky..can't recall the name..4 guys go on holiday to a villa and get caught up some mad drugs shenanigans.
Just a bit different from the norm.
I'm hoping they make another series.

I didn't like the finish... there I said it. For me, the last 20 minutes went weird & wrong. Still glad I enjoyed it in total, but stupid ending.

Loved the fact Elliott was something as mundane as accountant. Had more things in common with Helen after all.

I enjoyed this good twists and turns, really hope there is a series 2 with Helen and Elliot solving why he did what he did, got to be more to it , really enjoyed it agree Helen has a gorgeous face so glad her and. Elliot got together .

Have just finished it, really enjoyed it and thought it got better as it went on.
I'm rooting for him not to be dead and also maybe to have been deep undercover when he did the the bad things! It seems unlikely someone so cold and mercenary would have changed into a generally pleasant and kind person just by having his memory wiped. So I'm hopeful there is an explanation (an evil twin even, if it comes to that)

Didn’t love the last two episodes but overall it was enjoyable.

episode 5 was better
but the series ending was disappointing
on paper i guess it looked reasonable

Yes, and that Elliot was handcuffed so was hardly the one in control.

Hopefully a happy ending for Helen in that she ended up with increased confidence and a good career ahead of her rather than being weighted down by either of two dreadful men. (Not wishing a fictional character dead, of course!)

Bit unprofessional of the desk cop telling Helen about Elliot's real past.

I just finished the final episode and came here to find other opinions on the ending. Which I really HATED. Thought the ending was really awful.

Trying so hard to be oh so clever with finding out that he was actually a bad man after all and the woman in his memories was just a drug mule?! And as if they just wouldn’t give her a laxative to get rid of the drugs rather than cutting her stomach. Please!

So stupid too. I feel so irritated. He smiles at an image of a burrito as he’s dying of a drug overdose?! Nope, hated it. Cheap and ridiculous.

Which was such a shame as I had so enjoyed the first 4 episodes (despite the gratuitous violence).
