I really hope that doesn't mean Oti is out of SCD, she's bloody awesome. I may well start to watch DoI now the judging panel has changed...although is it still presented by the bloody awful man who advertises the gin club? (I will not speak his name!)

I think Oti is in danger of being overexposed, she seems to be on everything- all the reality shows too

I thought both Oti and Aljaz had almost confirmed that that was them done with Strictly? When they were both knocked out? In (different) interviews afterwards? Which was why Aljaz seemed more emotional than usual at going?

Know nothing about Oti and Alijaz leaving, but although I’d be sorry to see them go - if they do - we’ll soon learn to love their replacements, or at least get used to them. That’s the nature of the show; look how well Kai’s fitted in and quickly become a favourite

Otis final speech definitely had a last hurrah about it and she’s on lots of things at the moment, so wouldn’t be surprised if she doesn’t come back.
I’m not sure about Alijaz, though he was a bit more emotional than usual. He’s really popular and always happy to go along with the daft VTs they so, so I’d be surprised if they don’t want him back.

Just read a story in the news about Neil sleeping on the streets for a short time when he was trying to forge a career in dancing, bless him.

So, have you seen Oti has been revealed as new judge on Dancing on Ice from Jan. Surely this signals the end of her time on Strictly. Also will she is be judging Brendan Cole?!!

I've just seen this, and think it confirms the suspicions that she's ending her time on Strictly, I'd be surprised if she is back next season.

Ref. Oti's overexposure, IMO it is too much, she's probably got a greedy agent.. She might burn out.

Janette denied that Aljaz was quitting I think. I love Aljaz but I reckon his English isn't quite good enough to make a living in live unscripted English language TV like Janette and Oti. But he could probably forge an acceptable career as Handsome Generic Foreigner in Netflix movies.

I have no doubt that the grim grin twins will not let anyone else take over DOI.

And Jason G is no longer on it. Now I will concede he was a bugger at times but like CRH, his opinion was Bob on mostly. Likewise with Karen or Nicky or Bobbins.

And replaced by a soorfaced ukulele and a knob dangler. Great. 🤨. (Nowt wrong with the national treasures)

I watch DOI on fastforward. I cannot bear that grizzled auld hothouse and his simpering highly sidekick.

I could speak their names but you’d never hear them for the swearing.

I wonder if him that swung his knob abaaht is making room for Oti?

Or if the ukulele man’s nippit little face (channelling my inner Tess) got him his jotters?

Me too. Have always wanted JJ judging - he’d be honest and fair and if you got a high score from him, you’d know you’d smashed it.

Oti will no doubt be the baws but JJ would have been better.

I may watch; didn't get enough of Oti this season. I wish she had gone out on a high note. Always my fave female pro.

Not entirely sure whether the right thing to do or not, but as she is a prolific poster on here and therefore one of our own, thought that some of you might wish to give your condolences via pm or on the unofficial xmas name change thread to iklboodolphrednosedpaindear - she lost her Dad this morning so will be going through the mill this Xmas. I don't think she will be posting much but perhaps might appreciate we are thinking of her.

I'm annoyed I didn't see them dance but will catch the first half on iplayer

Late to the party, but thought was great fun! My personal favourite was Mel though, she was so funny and enthusiastic.

The only one I wasn't sure was Adrian and partner - she was so tiny and looked so much younger than him that I found a romantic dance between them a bit weird.

But overall I loved it!
