I loved Bill's hippity hop number, there wasn't anything as amusing or witty in the mix on Saturday, although Rose's couples' choice is stunning.

Am I the only one who finds it v hard to read India Knight any more?

I never understood why it was Tess and Brucie then when he didn't do it anymore it was just Tess. No feelings either way about Claudia except why can't they get the judges comments followed by the scores while still standing with Tess.

i just think it needs a major overhaul, it's all a bit stale as a format.

Tess is doing Bruce's old job and Claudia is doing Tess's old job. They've simply swapped them out and not changed the roles at all. Tess was rubbish at the chat afterwards so very glad she's now doing a more formulaic role more within her skill set.

The reason that they move them to a different location to wait for the judges score is technical - it's so that they can clear stuff off the dance floor and set up new props for the next dance.

I disagree about Giovanni being cool and aloof with previous partners. He’s always been warm and affectionate and constantly hugging and kissing partners, I remember him crying in the final with Georgia and Debbie (mind you he did get together with Georgia).
Except for the one who hated him (sorry forgot her name) he’s has a great relationship with all of them.

Yes, I was going to say this; and throughout the series they’ve all been waving for Rose rather than cheering, which obviously takes the noise level down.

I saw her expression and she did not look pleased ...camera doesn’t lie ...as soon as I saw her I thought aye up she’s not best pleased at the result

She was the only judge shown after the result was announced. Naughty camera person..

A perfect summing up by India Knight, even if she is a troubling character in other ways...

This is a show dance.

gio in love with rose was like that thing of joey and hugsy and it says "i want to be with someone the way joey looks at hugsy" - or something like that.

so that means that rose is hugsy and gio is joey and i've gone off piste

rose is doing the strictly tour though isn't she? i think? if i don't get tickets for christmas present then i'm buying myself one tbh.

AJ was my winner, so I had no skin in the game last night. Rose is a lovely dancer, but she didn't excite me or move me. Much like some of the other amazing dancers we've had on Strictly like Rachel Steven's or Ashley Roberts. Whereas the likes of AJ, Caroline Flack or Abbey Clancy just seemed to have a little something extra for me.

Something I find a bit disingenuous is the silent bit during the CC dance as if that's now how Rose is dancing. She's not dancing to silence. She has said herself that she can hear the beat etc because she wears a hearing aid.

So fair enough if she's won because she's a great dancer, which she is. But I'm finding the "she's a great dancer and she can't even hear the music" a bit patronising to her and not quite accurate. But at the end of the day, she's raised a lot of awareness for the Deaf community and that clearly means the world to her. More than winning Strictly. So well done to her!

I am going to venture it wasn't choreographed by Jason Gilkison. Oti barefoot but not a whiff of contempowaft.

I don't agree.

I'm a bit bored tonight so having a look on here to see people's thoughts about last night. Strictly really is a great series I think - and maybe I take it a bit for granted when it's on, but we are very lucky to have a great TV show like this. Some withdrawal symptoms tonight.

Reading the autocue and talking to the dancers as if they're 4 years old. Yeah.

I’ve heard they can’t get rid of her because another presenter will insist on two sleeves and she is saving them a fortune by wearing 1.

Two dresses on one hanger and that.

If only a contestant would turn round and go ‘ooooh your little sleeve’.
