I know what you mean about Nancy and Rhys; they didn’t seem as friendly/warm as a couple from the start, but that might just have been our interpretation, plus the fact that they’re weren’t always joking around with each other like some of the others. A few times a pp said Rhys looked as if he’d had enough and was ready to go, but that seems not to have been the case either. I thought he looked very disappointed, but resigned (and not surprised) to be out on Sunday’s show, gave it everything he had in both dances, was gracious in defeat and did a spectacular last dance. In conclusion, I think he and Nancy had as much of a bond as the others in the SF - haven’t seen last night’s ITT yet - they’re just less demonstrative, and a bit hands-off.

I think the most successful and popular couples are the ones that are the most convincing in their chemistry. I think this is a big reason why Dan made it as far as he did and why Rhys kept finding himself in the dance off - I suppose him and Nancy didn't present their connection in the way that gelled with the public. This is where Rose and Giovanni have a huge advantage over the other two couples - they have been the most convincing and consistent in telling their story.

Loved seeing Ian back on ITT. Explained why he thought Craig 'only' gave 9s for certain dances and didn't just rave that everyone was fantastic for no good reason. Good critiques.

I don’t want any of the existing pros to leave, but I have heard rumours that Oti might. I wouldn’t blame her in a way, she’s due a run of duffers now! I also wonder about Karen - I haven’t heard any suggestion of her leaving but she’s the longest serving pro now and she never seems to get anyone really good (she’s had a couple of pretty good people and had a couple of decent runs including the final with Jamie, but never seems to get the really good people) so maybe she will move on. I hope not, she’s fab!

I really wanted Karen to have Adam this year as she is into her fitness training and I thought she'd do wonders with him. Alas, not to be, and she ended up with Greg. I assume because she had reached semi finals and finals with Chris and Jamie, in spite of their dancing ability not because of it She has had the sexy partner before though in Chucky Venn. Not sure she has ever had a proper ringer on paper, in all the years she's done Strictly - unless we count Nicky in her debut year and he was surprisingly wooden.

ah...there was Will Young. Enough said. Still gutted about that. Still watch his Bollywood salsa (which she didn't even choreo) and wonder about what might have been.

I don't particularly want anyone to leave but there is always a bit of turn over among the pro's either by their choice or the decision of the BBC.

I would take jowita over Nancy any day!
Not too keen on luba either..or maybe just not seen them with the right partner(Dan and nadia)

Of course there always has to be change in the pro line up, it would be dull if it never changed, but taking each pro individually I don’t want any to leave!

I wouldn't be surprised if Oti left at this point, or Aljaz.. despite Janette seemingly clearing up that rumour.

Gorka and Karen I think could be in their last few runs.

Having said that, I really loved Gorkas choreography with Alexandra, so I'd be happy to see him with a 'ringer' next year.

I can’t help but think that Jowita would go all Johannes on her celeb’s arse.

There is no doubt she’s super talented but I get the feeling that lass plays second fiddle to no one.

I missed the series he was in. Why did he leave?

He didnt say at the time, but later cited mental health issues.

then jive then salsa... ...but Len said not enough salsa content. Will corrected him on how many bars there was and was told to ''turn up, keep up and shut up.'' The week after, Will couldn't face training for the VW, dropped out, lost his fee and has had nothing to do with the show since. I was gutted as I love him (see below recent videos as to why) and I think he was final-worthy. He was feeling pressure though and distressed/in duvet-mode. Will didn't speak out at the time and the press were pretty awful. No idea whether production realised, or Len, or even Karen, who was slave-driving a bit but frustrated at the no-show to training. I often wonder what would have happened had Will had Nat or Jo and Karen had Greg Rutherford. For me, Will remains the contestant ''who got away'' and one day, were he up to it mentally and physically, he'd be my ''all stars'' choice. I also think Len was a git and have had no time for the man since, given he will take any old choreo on DWTS for the $$$$. Dancing in this vid

Agree about Karen never having anyone good. Run of bad luck though I liked Charles Venn. Though to be fair, so has Dianne.

My "dislike" of AJ"s loudness had nothing to do with her sex or colour.

I was originally disappointed when I found out AJ was going to be in Strictly. I had seen her in a few things and, although, I thought she seemed a nice person, her ultra loud shouty voice I found very very annoying.

Either she has toned it down or I have got used to it but I now don't find her voice annoying. She seems lovely and very genuine. I would like her to win but really don't think she will

I must be alone in liking AJ's voice. I like husky voiced women. Actually, what I really like about her and Kai- as opposed to Rose and Gio- is that they have alternated the ballroom and Latin dances properly. So very dance feels fresh. What Rose has done is done nearly all the Latin and peppy dances first, so I have only seen wafty, fragile ballroom from her for the past several weeks. No Charleston from Rose either.

@JanisMoplin why would you like Diane to leave? I really like her myself. However I do think she is looking really underweight, or is that just me? I know she has a history of an eating disorder and wonder if strictly is actually healthy for her?
