That's such a meaningless thing to say.
I'm not sure why people are so keen to slap me down for voicing criticism of it, especially given all the nice things I've said about R&G.

What? Sorry, I'm genuinely baffled. I've not meant one thing to be snide, or patronising. I acknowledged the unfair comparison of Rose to Oti. I explained why I still do feel as I do about it (in mild terms). I said how much I like Rose and Giovanni.

I think AJ and Kai will do well in both dances.
Rose and Giovanni's waltz will be utterly charming. I anticipate she'll bring all her acting skills out for the Argentine tango and it will be tingling. I hope so anyway.
J&J's couple's choice will be moving, I think. Jive will suit John.
After Rhys's incredible AT surely he'll be confident about nailing a ballroom tango. Do we know what the music is? I think a tango lives or dies on the music. Samba… hard to say. Might suit him down to the ground or could be a return to the things the judges say about him not having enough control etc.

I was genuinely concerned/puzzled as to where her nipples actually were. 😳😳😳

I'm always nervous that those women pros are going to topple on those vertiginous heels. Especially when it's Demo time.
Still, they must have excellent balance.

Will watch Rose and Gio's waltz with a few tears... How Long Will I Love You is one of the songs that reminds me of ds1... He passed away many years before Ellie Gouldings version of the song came out but the words remind me of him... He would have been 27 later this month.. 😔 😔 😔 😔 😔

I was also slightly underwhelmed by Rose and Gio’s so-called lift. It wasn’t even a lift, it was a giant leap, and while it obviously required a lot of trust and nerves of steel on both sides, I thought it was a bit messy and not entirely worthy of all the bigging up.
That said, I love this couple and have been voting for them from the start... just not a fan of that particular move.

intermittent it's to One Vision, so will be fairly frenetic. He will drive it, the audience will clap along, he may even open the show with it, the band do a decent job (Ricky and Erin did a paso to it - see upthread) but I bloody well hate rock tangos so will be throwing popcorn at the screen and giving all my votes to AJ!!!

What's with the they weren't touching for a split second hype? They were apart for longer because Rose walked away in order to take a run up.

She was neither touching the ground not touching Giovanni, for a split second

It was ungainly and she waved her arms around like a windmill. Awful.
