I think it's a pretty good QF as QFs go.

We will probably find out that after all this thatthe couple who have fallen foul of the curse will be the most unlikely couple.

The only chemistry I have noticed is Giovanni seeming to have a bit of a crush on Rose, but she is very coupled up with someone. I just think he is just very tactile and intense.

I completely agree - she's a natural talent and lovely to watch. If only she'd been able to have lessons as a child.

Has it definitely been confirmed that AJ and Kai are an item? I know there’s been lots of rumours but I haven’t seen any confirmation from them (but I don’t follow all the social media so I could easily have missed it).

No, only from 'a source' in the Sun. And we all know how reliable that is.

I don't hate Dan but he should have gone out in week 5. Phew for AJ. Kai really needs to tone down his choreo and not cram 4 lifts into one dance.

I don't think he should have gone any earlier. Tilly was a better dancer but her dance last week was pretty bad so she deserved to go

@SmellyOldOwls the deaf children I teach are really sensitive to noise so actually Shirley was right. Hearing technology is better than it was but it's hard to find individual sounds sometimes so she would have had to block the noise.

@GreenLunchBox my deaf children also often take off their technology when they get home to have some peace and quiet!!! There are very few deaf people who hear nothing.

I’m sure that was a “ plan b” ending from AJ and Kai, one they knew could be executed cleanly, but it wasn’t the face climbing dusAAA-ster they attempted before.

Dan done well, but he is the weakest dancer at this stage, so it’s time to say goodbye, with good grace.

I agree. If last night's ending had just been a cartwheel, AJ would not have been above Kai's shoulder. Seemed like it was definitely a different ending.

I was actually disappointed Joe and Diane's extracurricular didn't filter into their dance tbh...was hoping they would have chemistry and fire and sizzle would naturally seep into their AT. Instead we had the Peaky Blinders theming whilst he chucked money at her like a pimp.

I really loved their Halloween performance and thought they had a lot of chemistry in that dance. I remember thinking there was something going on between them at that point.

I've supported Kai...and AJ...from the start along with Rose and Joe Varney but we're getting to the end now, and I'm throwing everything at Rose and Joe - I honestly honestly will never watch the show again if they don't win, it would be an absolute travesty for me as her dancing is a joy to watch. Fuck...I've had too much wine...the emosh investment is giving it large

So, where does all this 'fanjo in the face move = having it off' come from? Why is anyone assuming that certain dance moves equate to horizontal jogging? By that vein pretty much all of the prof dance team are banging on a weekly basis...

That did flit through my mind briefly for a moment watching Dan in the final dance, it's always the ones you don't expect! I really doubt it of him though. And Nadiya is way too professional for that.

I couldn't love AJ and Kai any more than I do. Does that make sense?
The rest are meh (apart from Rhys who's also fab)

Supposedly they've been together since the start but I can't say I've noticed much chemistry between them.

Does anyone know why Nadiya wasn't a pro last year? Was it COVID travel restriction related? I googled her and she has a Slovenian footballer boyfriend and a 4 yr old daughter. Presumably she lives in Slovenia most of the year and her daughter often comes with her to the UK.

Continuing as a pro once her daughter starts school might be tricky. I wondered if she hoped Dan's fan base would take them to the glitter ball and that was part of her tearful disappointment last night.

Last year the couples were in strict Covid bubbles. If one person in the couple lived with friends or family then the other person had to live alone. Nadiya having a young daughter would have made it harder to pair her with a celeb.

I am so leased AJ is through I would have been gutted if she went.

I have noticed balance issues with her too I wonder if it's because she is very into running, maybe using a different part of her foot for weight is effecting her after years of doing it one way?

@SmellyOldOwls that's been the line in all the gutter press, and I dare say we've hinted we thought so here, but looking at it now I just don't see it. Maybe that's because I want Kai all to myself (yeah, Sheldonesque, I'll take you on!).
