I was actually disappointed Joe and Diane's extracurricular didn't filter into their dance tbh...was hoping they would have chemistry and fire and sizzle would naturally seep into their AT. Instead we had the Peaky Blinders theming whilst he chucked money at her like a pimp.

I've never felt that with AJ & Kai. Dancing is like that anyway, there has always been "legs round faces" type lifts.

Just to say also, nothing is confirmed about AJ and Kai. Everyone has hinted / assumed but they haven’t said anything.

It wouldn’t surprise me at all if they’re just good mates, not shagging but enjoying all the press and extra publicity about it

Has it definitely been confirmed that AJ and Kai are an item? I know there’s been lots of rumours but I haven’t seen any confirmation from them (but I don’t follow all the social media so I could easily have missed it).

Does anyone know why Nadiya wasn't a pro last year? Was it COVID travel restriction related? I googled her and she has a Slovenian footballer boyfriend and a 4 yr old daughter. Presumably she lives in Slovenia most of the year and her daughter often comes with her to the UK.

Continuing as a pro once her daughter starts school might be tricky. I wondered if she hoped Dan's fan base would take them to the glitter ball and that was part of her tearful disappointment last night.

Last year everybody said Gio and Ranveer were dating. I think some pros are just good actors.

@Summer15coming that’s a valid point, it could be strength rather than balance. Possibly her core too, like @Maireas said, she has looked a bit Bambi-esque at times.

I still love her and think she’s been amazing, and I genuinely believe that she hasn’t danced before and wish, for her, that she’d been given the opportunity as a child. Perhaps it’s something she could focus on, get some decent dance training under her belt and it could open up some more doors for her.
