That was not ok to be airing at 7pm. Really really dark. Why did Al not rush straight to Ellis? To stand over a little boy making an implied threat to his safety is not 7pm stuff.

They're doing what the storyliners tell them which is all down to the production team. These same writers were doing a great job a few years ago.

I've looked at the next few days of telly listings to see any mention of Manpreet.

There's not any mention of anything relating to the Manpreet story at all. It's really horrible to watching this at 7pm. If the writers think this is suitable early evening viewing or what the viewers want to see, they're sadly mistaken on both counts.

I'm hoping Manpreet comes to and gets out of the binbags. If she doesn't, then the absurdity that is the Meena bandwagon will just keep rolling along.
