I think based on the music/style only Rose is a shoe-in.

In the air tonight is a really, interesting choice. I really want to be surprised - if he wows me, will vote for him instead of John.
The only one I was meh to is Sister Sledge - but then I remembered they used it in The Birdcage so if J20 come out all feathers and whistles, I'm there for it.

In The Air Tonight seems a very weird choice for an AT. But let's face it, whatever Rhys does he's going to be in the dance-off.

Comparing two salsas will be interesting. I really hope AJ's is great and the judges don't take against it.

A tango to proper tango music is probably the best Dan could have hoped for this week. I think he probably will hit the dance off now but if his vote really does hold up again there'll be a shock for someone else.

Rose and Gio doing a gorgeous AS seems nailed on for top of the leaderboard. But as we all know the scoring has been quite bizarre lately.

Sadly, you are probably right mad unless he gets 40 and is top of the leader board - even then he'll need floating voters or Tilly's voters. There could still be a shock boot if it was Rhys vs John for example and Rhys did the better routine on the night? I am for turning if a routine blows me away

I just feel that whoever is in the bottom 2 with Rhys they need to send him home and put him out of his misery. He doesn't seem to be enjoying his experience and I'm sure he's dreading the idea that he might have to go through two more dance offs in the quarters and semis unless the judges take pity on him. He doesn't have the vote so why keep putting him through it.

That's true. Week 4 earlier on, there was more cannon-fodder though. Week 8 Rhys got 40 and stayed out the DO. I know AJ had people on here and on dig spy voting 3x for her paso, as they saw she was in danger. This week with so few of them, it makes it really interesting.
I want AJ to win the whole thing but I don't think she will. I think Rose has it in the bag. Just seen Rhys on It Takes Two and he seemed fine and happy still to be in. Both at great pains to say Rhys was at peace whatever that means. Nancy was doing THIS BOY a lot though!
I don't do social media myself but Rhys and Nancy have 7.5k followers between them. Dan has nearly 100 x that (735k) on his own and works the tweets and training updates like no man's business.
I suspect him retweeting that others want to sue him for dancing and hope he goes bald, might get him a vote or two as well.
I had forgotten but Alexandra topped the leader board in the quarter finals and was still bottom two. I'd hope the judges would save AJ over the others but seeing as they have marked her more harshly on occasion I might have to pick the phone up.

Also that Rhys could get 40 and end up there. It will be his fourth DO if he does. Jamelia was eliminated dodgily on her fifth.
Ashley Roberts had three dance-offs in a row weeks 10 to 12. Alexandra two back-to-back weeks 10 and 11.
Rhys did get an extra 20k for making the quarters though, which will surely go some way to help him get over his ''cute little cry leading to huge sobbing like Bruce Willis in Friends'' (his words not mine!) It might well have just been a pressure valve blowing so now it's all out, he can enjoy it more (Nancy, ten weeks in, realising it's more important he enjoy the journey, lol

Just watched the hidden mic video and actually I have totally fallen in love with Nikita this weekend (in a platonic way) the way he said to Tilly 'you're Shakira' was so adorable! Taking off his shirt to make her laugh and enjoy her final dance was very sweet. Some of the pro dancers are a bit forgettable but he really has a great personality and I hope he stays in and gets a partner next year.

Totally agree with this - I think he is a fab addition to the show. So much more charm and charisma than AJ (pro) who he has really replaced in terms of the 'young cute one'.

I have Levitating on my driving playlist and now everytime it comes on, i just think of the dancing shirt

I remember seeing some video film of Ore's wedding day well before his Strictly stint, and he was getting weepy during the speeches. He's obviously always been emotional, he was not being " manipulative".Can't understand the dislike for Ore on here.

You really can’t understand that not everyone likes the same people?

Can people really make themselves cry (apart from trained actors maybe) ? I rarely cry at anything, pretty sure I couldn't force out tears at will. I tend to assume people are truly feeling emotional if they are crying - but maybe I'm just naive ?

Loving the new pros this season Nikita and Kai (DD calls him 'that Channing Tatum bloke' - but not sure I see it)
