I’m firmly in the “It’s weird” camp. Sorry but they worked together and yes whilst intense style of work she’s still only known him a few months. Where are her friends and family?? Why can’t her fiancé (husband?) come see her when she is so ill? Why would she want to be photographed when looking ill in a fletcher sandwich (G grinning away and T had a weird face again). Beyond odd IMO.

I would imagine Chez Fletcher has a lot more room and possibly even extra help. They are doing a favour for a fwend/repaying her generosity with time and training. I would happily stay there as opposed to going miles to family when meant to be filming a few days later. All jokes aside, fair play to Tom and Giovanna.

Yes, I'd agree with that. Despite my previous comment, it is very decent of them and it should be heartwarming. No idea what's made me so cynical!

There seems to be a bit of a delay in releasing the dances/song choices today. Hopefully it's just due to admin and not related to any Covid-driven issues.

I'm hoping Dan will have to Samba to something wildly inappropriate (Nine Inch Nails, Bob the Builder?) - I don't want there to be any danger of him smugging his way through this year's Final.

But then I'm also hoping for Rhys to be put out of his misery soon. I've never seen anyone react less joyously to receiving a 10 as he did on Saturday. I'm starting to have serious concerns about his mental health. Contrast his distress with Tilly's upbeat, unphased gratitude for her Strictly experience, even though she was the one eliminated.

Yes same here was in mood and I duly harsh. I do still think the Amy/fletcher thing is a tad odd but good for them for helping her and obviously goes without saying hope she is in the mend.

@soupdragon I'm not saying he's not allowed to show emotion, more that I'm worried for the toll this series might be having on his MH. Realistically he could be looking at another 2 dance-offs, he's working long hours without breaks and he doesn't seem to be getting any joy out of his Strictly experience. Hopefully he is enjoying it more than he shows, but I'm not getting that vibe.

I think what confuses me is that Ore was bashed for crying, yet its fine for Rhys.

I think the feeling is that Ore, for want of a better phrase, 'put it on' and blubbed at the drop of a hat rather than it being really genuine. I don't think it's 'fine' for Rhys; well, I do, because boys do cry and emotion is not shameful – but I think he's looking really fragile at the moment.

So happy Rose & Gio have an American Smooth (think it will really suit them and hope they do somethig romantic and floaty), but a bit disappointed they are using the same song that Davood and Nadiya used for their American Smooth.

I think looking at that dance list, Rhys will be the least suited to his dance - ATs are tricky at the best of times and I don't think the mood of the dance will suit his exuberance. Happy to be proved wrong of course.
I think the two salsas will be exciting and R and G will do a beautiful American smooth. Dan will do Dan
