Fucking Gordon wiping his eyes every time he thinks the camera is on him. He’s been a massive hinderance to Tilly in this, although he’s the only reason she’s in it in the first place

How has he been a hindrance? By watching his daughter?

I didn’t particularly like Tilly’s dancing throughout the series but she carried herself so well and gave such a graceful goodbye speech. I am definitely a fan of how she comports herself.

Tilly has done brilliantly well and come across as a thoroughly lovely person. That dancing shirt tonight was hilarious. It reminds me of Orko from He-man! Goodnesss knows what happened there, but he def didn't do that on Saturday night and I hope it didn't put her off.

I do think it was her night to go. The more I read, the more I want Dan to stay in. He's a decent bloke improving all the time. I just can't want to Rhys and I'm bored of John. It IS an entertainment show and I find Dan more engaging and entertaining. I don't want him to win, I want AJ to win, but wouldn't mind Rose. Until tonight though I'd been thinking Dan should go next week, but actually, it's not all about the dancing so depending on how the dances go next week, I might not mind if Rhys or John go.

I have never cared less about who wins Strictly.. the whole thing has been really bland this year and I can’t put my finger on why. The Halloween special was pants, no Blackpool again, no Ed Balls style comedy rubbish celeb, not one really memorable performance… still watch it though

I think they both decided to spice it up, give it some more welly. Re-watching it, it appears she undoes his button and he does a surprise, ooh you saucy minx face. Later he intends to magic mike it but then seemingly forgets it's attached so does the over the shoulder thing...not an issue until giving in his all in the last part of routine so we end up with a washing line/american beauty/dancing shirt scenario. Tilly carries on regardless. Tis a thing of beauty

Nikita was fab!! And I think he brought Tilly out of herself...shame they are gone...my last 3 are Rose, AJ and John ...not long to go now ...

Went away for half an hour or so, came back to deleted messages on subject of Tilly, so may as well add my two pence worth...

I also didn’t warm to her at the beginning, but gradually got to like her and enjoy her and Nikita as a pairing. They come across as a couple of very young adults getting on, having fun and not quite believing how lucky they are to be on the show, which has been refreshing to watch. I’m assuming Nikita took his shirt off as a kind of last hurrah, knowing they were likely to be out, and because Gordon went on about him doing his shirt buttons up at the start; boy has a sense of humour, hope they have him and his dancing shirt back next year.

It was Tilly’s time to go, but I hope she feels she acquitted herself well in this competition. I think she did, improving her dancing, working hard and generally being a thoroughly nice girl. I love it when a celeb I didn’t expect to like completely alters my slightly negative opinion of them, and for me, Tilly was this year’s Jamie Laing.

They really need to sort out the marking madness, they contradict their own scoring most weeks!!

Love that Tilly and Nikita just went for it and had a blast, Rhys getting a 10 from Shirley they probably guessed they were out whatever, so he went for it. Made me smile! Tilly has been gracious and charming and does not deserve all the misogynistic hate because she's not celeb stick thin.

Wish we could all vote Tess out, never thought she could get more annoying but she has! Aargh can't stand her faked sympathy 🤮 time for new blood SCD!!

I enjoyed how it caught on his mic wire, so it ended up looking like he was being haunted by an awkward, tropical ghost.

Iike both the couples in the dance off, but both have to go at some point, as Rose (or John) is going to win!

@Speaking of lovely couples, does anyone feel like they're intruding on a private moment watching Gio and Rose? Like you have AJ and Kai who are supposedly a couple standing together like mates and then these two who are supposedly not a couple but they're incredibly in sync and the chemistry is palpable. Maybe it's the Joey Tribbiani theory that you know two people are together if there's no heat!

I don't see any chemistry between Rose and Gio. I think they are very good friends but that is it.

I don't think she would be his type anyway

I always think Gio seems a little bit in awe of Rose, like she's a glass ornament or something. I don't see chemistry.

I find John quite boring too watch as well, I really liked him on bake off, just find his dancing meh

I want to see johannes doing some full on sassy routines, like the group routines when he's in his high heels

I don't see chemistry either, big brother/new best friend type of relationship.

I both liked and disliked that dance. The costumes were weirdly fitted.

Just caught up, Tilly and Nikita really enjoyed themselves. I think she's done really well and I hope that Nikita gets a partner next year.

I feel sorry for Tilly having the samba as it's a dreadful dance for most celebrities to get to grips with. Tilly definitely grew on me over the weeks. However, I think the continued over marking by the judges of Tilly week by week has kept her in longer than she should have been.

they all have to do the samba at some point don't they. You could say she was lucky for avoiding it until now.

I agree they need to sort their marking out, Dan didn’t even dance.

I think Rose and Gio may have peaked too soon.

John and Johannes really should have closed the gap in that tango. I feel like they are holding back. I wish they wouldn’t.

I don’t get relationship vibes from AJ & Kai but that jump, wow!

Rhys and Nancy don’t seem to have any spark.
