-How the F was Tilly's a 40? We got the the end and just looked at each other and thought it was just a bit meh
-It will be an interesting test of popularity. John's an unknown quantity in that respect. Dan could well be safe.

If two people have the same combined score then the viewer vote takes precedence, so in my example TIlly would be in the dance-off.

No doubt having a famous father has helped her immeasurably, but she does have a big following on tiktok. Every year they have someone from social media that I expect a lot of people haven't heard of before- Joe, Saffron...

She has just under 10 million followers on tik tok, there's no way they are all because of her dad.

Another thing, stop bored celebrities dialling in video messages. It's excruciating. Russell Crowe gives less of a shit about this show than Bruno did when there was a hot Argentinian waiting for him by a pool in Venice Beach.

2x AJ & 1x Tilly on the internet voting. Was a bit behind due to bedtime routine and voted without watching Dan. Rang up to vote 3x Dan because I thought it was his best dance and was incensed that even though his score was tied with Tom, visually he was at the bottom of the leaderboard. Haven’t voted for Dan before!

I voted AJ, Rose and John. With two ties in the leader board it's time to abandon any attempt at tactical voting and just go for my faves. I think Rhys is beyond help and I'd be happy to see him kick out Dan or Tom. If my quirky scenario plays out and Tilly kicks out Rhys then so be it.

I like Tilly, am a fan of Matilda and, as mentioned upthread, I adore Tim Minchin but thought that she did a decent job of the dance tonight but no way was it a 40... but I also think there's been some serious overmarking for most of the couples throughout this series...

I love Cabaret. I adore Oti.

But Karen would have been my Sally.

Aj and Kai? Lovely. Once or twice though something looked a bit off with her feet. I know nowt though.

Rhys i enjoyed - it was frantic but full of joy. I thought he would not only get on my nellies but take up residence on them. I look forward to seeing him now. Even if he sometimes looks like me trying to navigate black ice. And Namce went emosh. Meh.

Tamy? Emosh. Sake. It made me think of my siblings. I couldn’t be prouder of them. I love them. And just thinking of them in that way makes me snotty and the lovely maireas will tell you what a hard hearted arse I (mostly) am.

Now seeing as I started watching the dance half bubbling, I was strangely unmoved. I did want to be moved but I didn’t feel it. Sorry.

That waft had a whift to it. It may not have been shite but it was a deeply eggy pump.

Rose and Gio? Loved it. But this is my favourite dance and someone could make an arse of it and I’d still be tickled with it. It was a tiny little arse hair of a mistake and it was a shame it cost them the 10s but no faux emosh mince so you’ve a 10 from me.

JJ - back to the ruddy vertigo inducing cgi. Spoils it a bit for me guvnor.

Couldn’t love this either. Not sure why because I love love LOVE the song. I know there were bits that weren’t quite right but they are losing their shine. I wish they weren’t.

Johannes looked as though he was proper going to sob but plastered a smile on. I can’t be doing with emosh mince but that looked real.

Dan and Nad? It wasn’t bad but it was the gentlest little Charleston I’ve seen on strictly.

That's a very good point. God forbid if she were to end up in the DO against AJ or Rose. It would show how ridiculous it is to have a contestant who has to be kept in against all reasonable logic.

I found myself wondering, and not for the first time, what accent Russell Crow was supposed to be doing.

I don’t think I’d much care what language he was using if he was nibbling on my neck.

Voted for Rhys and AJ. Really hope Tilly is in the dance off, she deserves to be, but with those ridiculous scores, guess that's unlikely.
