Shazza is a granny to a cute bubba but still a silly storyline

Bernie still away preg

Liam and janine still scheming

Gray is going to be a daddy again tho is it his baby

I didnt think they were clever enough to have considered this.

Personally the issue for me, is that I dont really care about Aaron. I also dont really care about Harvey or Dana so even the link there is pretty boring.

Neil (is that the twat faced racist? I honestly didnt know his name) has not been around long enough to be interesting or relevant.

If they had introduced Aaron earlier in the year, and kept his distasteful attitude a little more subtle and with more of a build up it would have been better

I don't mind that the bomb didn't go off (I think it would be pretty low of a storyline if it did) and that there was no deaths over the festive period. Think soaps are too keen to tick the death box at Christmas (remember when Charlie Slater turned up one Christmas just to have a heart attack and die).

I didn't get much building of tension though, as there were too many storylines. They should have concentrated on a few good ones.

I thought the NY episode with Linda's drunk night out was really good and would have liked to have seen something similar to that. I find the episodes where they focus on one storyline or character much better.

I'm sort of over Mick and Linda's constant marriage problems to the point where I just wish they would get divorced!

I'm glad Phil has run off. Hope he brings Raymond back, then swiftly fucks off again.

Really don't understand why they drag the Grey story out even longer. Has worked with other serial killer storylines, but I think we're all just rolling our eyes with despair now.

I'm still waiting for Vincent to turn up having only been dead and not dead-dead. Sad

I thought they did the "not explosion" very well. I thought they were going to cut to scenes of the aftermath, not confetti and celebrating.

Yes and no - I thought it was an explosion, but when I saw it wasnt I thought it was a cheesy misdirection...

I had the "jaw dropped in shock" moment followed by relief so it worked for me.

I thought it might be the classic soap "kill off a bunch of unwanted characters" scenario.

I think the sound people have been on the ball this year x they had the bit from Greg Lake's I believe in Father Christmas that says "the Christmas we get we deserve" playing in the background for a couple of scenes.

I played the Floyd track this morning and it gets into your head.
I do like them , but I have to listen to them on my own as others I live with are a bit meh about them . Dark side is one of top ten albums , but I'm not up on their tracks after the 80s as much.
The wall film was one of the most disturbing films I've ever seen .
It's great having some music on EE.
I remember Sharon playing ' the bitch is back ' on the jukebox by Elton when Cindy Beale ( Michelle Collins ) walked into the vic once ! Ouch.

I'm not angry I'm just disappointed in that episode Grin (and the episodes for most of last year to be honest). Pleased that June Brown got an OBE in the new year honours list though!
