Jay is being scammed by Janine and Liam, so when he finds himself unemployed or in prison, Honey will probably run back to Billy.
Nobody stays together or happy in EE.

Akire · 12/11/2021 22:11

That seems to be Billy’s over all plan though she have to be really desperate. How or is Billy he must be 65 at least.

Big shame Tiff and Keegan split up there’s only Stu & Rainie left together and I doubt we in forever a happy ever after baby story.

woodhill · 12/11/2021 22:15

@MaryAndGerryLivingInDerry

I’m getting a real creepy vibe from EE the way they’re having all these 12 year old boys having sex and fathering babies.
Yes, not great and plunging new depths of inappropriateness
MaryAndGerryLivingInDerry · 12/11/2021 22:23

I forgot about stu and Rainie! I’m amazed they’ve been allowed to last this long.

Meredusoleil · 13/11/2021 03:00

Technically Mick and Linda are still together. We just have a temporarily absent Linda!

Blondeshavemorefun · 13/11/2021 13:13

Wouidnt the mum be prosecuted for sleeping /raping a 13yr

If she is looking for a job she has to be over 16

And yes very slimey of tiffs date to assume she wanted a suite and sleep with him

I’ve worked out what has particularly bothered me about the mick and Denny fathering babies aged 12 stories. It’s that they’ve done it so that it’s a historical event that can’t be addressed, only reacted to much later. Eg instead of Sharon finding out her child is having sex aged 12 and her being able to talk to him, find out who the girl was, encourage him to be safe etc and have it as a highlighting a a child safety/how to look out for grooming storyline they’ve taken the easy option of not having to do it carefully and responsibly instead going for the dramatic consequences of it with no regard for the fact Denny was just a boy. Have they even acknowledged how young he was? I have a 12 year old son and I’m finding it quite uncomfortable to follow this story.

Spidey66 · 15/11/2021 18:02

I've missed something somewhere.....where is Linda supposed to be? I know Kellie Brights on ML but I'm not sure what the story is.

Akire · 15/11/2021 18:10

She’s on ML in real life in the show she has the baby about month ago and because worried Max would find out it’s his. Mick Ollie and her went to stay with her mum. Mick just come back as Ollie missed his friends etc etc

Akire · 15/11/2021 20:20

Why are the making out she gave her baby away in the 1950s? It was 1986 and she had “no money” that was probable the best golden age to be a single parent. Plenty of Benefits, no shortage social housing. If you had a baby the job centre basically said take
Next 16 years off. Plus hasn’t she been hinting the child had Down Syndrome? Or did I totally misread all of this ?

BonesInTheOcean · 15/11/2021 20:36

Is Eve trying to channel Captain Jack Sparrow??

She's not the best drunkard

I am thoroughly confused about this latest Vi and Christopher story. She said he was born in 1986, 35 years ago and she was pregnant with him at 51. That makes her 86 years old, no?!? Surely that can't be right. She doesn't look much older than 60 ffs.

Plus its all so OTT the way she thinks she can just trace him after all this time and make up for the past 35 years by saying 'he is loved'. Surely she should have allowed for the fact that he may not want to see her or will buy won't be happy about it. How naive can an 87 year old woman be?!?

MaryAndGerryLivingInDerry · 15/11/2021 20:54

I cannot stand the Vi character. Hating this story.

woodhill · 15/11/2021 20:58

And why would Stuart care that much

What with Denny at 12 and Vi at 51, oh come on, what trash

Akire · 15/11/2021 21:15

I wonder if the childs father was black and that was the reason why he was given up? If she was born in 1930s then that would have been “outrageous” thing and even if london had changed a lot by 1980s Vi was of a different generation. Could be wrong but if child doesn’t have disability then seems more likely added reason than just no money which doesn’t stand up. More doom and gloom no doubt

southeastdweller · 15/11/2021 21:27

I did the maths too and it didn't seem right when Vi looks about 60, not someone in her mid-80s. But the actress who plays her - Gwen Taylor - is 82. Rudolph Walker who plays Patrick is also 82 and looks much younger.

Oh wow! Had no idea of the actors real ages. Impressive. I don't think the father was black. I think Vi definitely said Christopher was born with Downs Syndrome. Where were Stuart and Callum when she was pregnant? Were they even born yet themselves?!?

How old are you?

Just asking as to me Vi looks like in her late 70s/80s - I'm 50

Akire · 15/11/2021 22:31

Stu is same age as Mick and he was 40 in last couple years. So that made his dad say 60s then Vi would had him at 18. So time Christopher was born Stu dad would been early twenties and not around.

If she gave him up because was disabled she might mentioned it since. I have rewatch the honey scenes again.

Justjoinedforthis · 16/11/2021 08:19

I thought she said her baby had Downs Syndrome right, that’s why she was asking Honey about Janet?

the80sweregreat · 16/11/2021 12:49

This is a bit of a rehash of a Cora Branning storyline ( rainie 's mum ) who found Eva , her long lost daughter that was taken away from her at birth in the 60s. That was a few years ago that they did this story , although Eva turned out to be a teacher and she did move to the square for a little while too.
I wonder if this story will be anything to do with Aunt Babe ? She used to ' sell ' on babies once I think ?
I liked Babe as a villain! She was scary

She could easily be the same school year as Denny. He was summer born and would be 15 now, 16 in July. She wouldn't be prosecuted as they are the same age. The Actress is 16, same age as Bleu Landau.
SoupDragon · 16/11/2021 15:13

Eve was a shit drunkard - should have taken lessons from Linda! It was a classic badly acted drunk.

The family dinner with Aaron and Bobby should be entertaining!
