Shazza is a granny to a cute bubba but still a silly storyline

Bernie still away preg

Liam and janine still scheming

Gray is going to be a daddy again tho is it his baby

I don't think it will even get to the arrested stage. Raymond will spill the beans and Phil will just leg it straight away and do a runner (not a spoiler, but sounds like something he would do - he's done it before when he went to Portugal with Louise).

Was great to see Linda again - I hadn't realised I'd missed her until seeing her tonight. I want Janine to have a good storyline but not messing with Mick and Linda - she needs a new man!

Linda is in her mums pub in Watford. Which of course is the other side of the world to Walford rather than a half hours drive. Ollie could have visited Linda every weekend
Who texts their partner of about 30 years about meeting up and doesn’t follow up with a phone call or something.

The writers have lost their way. I know they needed to invent a reason for Linda being away but honestly, Walford to Watford, realistically Ollie would be visiting his mum all the time. Plus the big reunion wouldn't be arranged and then dropped on the basis of one text. And Linda pouring out her life story and taking to the bottle again after meeting Janine for 5 minutes..... I know it's not real but really, the writers need to come up with better story lines than these!

What was she thinking ? Doesn't care , obviously and wants a show down .
Would take Mick about half hour to drive there, how did Janine get there , on Patricia the horse ?

I agree with you all about communication between Mick and Linda being ridiculous. It struck me that Nancy would have been straight on the phone to her Mum urging her to come back, then Linda would tell her about the text Janine sent and everything would become clear.

To be fair, Walford and Watford are a fair distance, especially if using public transport. You could still do it at least weekly though.

But it must have been close enough for Janine to get a taxi or whatever, then head back to Walford after necking lots of wine

It can't have taken Janine long to get there yesterday and it was a bank holiday too.
Soaps are another world when it comes to travel
I agree that Nancy would have phoned her mum ( in real life ) or Janine would have ended up tagged on Facebook ( or whatever fake one they use on EE ) without J knowing then Linda might have recognized her as the new ' bar manager'!
That would have been funny ' what you playing at , get otta my mums pub ' .. etc
But no, it was a ploy to get her to drink again :(
When so many other ways would be so much more realistic

When EE started ( waaaaaay back in IIRC 1984 !) E20 was a mythical postcode between Walthamstow and Ilford .. hence Walford Grin

Now it seems The Olympic Villiage has nabbed E20

So , time from Walford to Waltford could be the blink of an eye , however long it takes Mick to click his Friend of Dorothy Ruby Slipppers together ......or 2 hours in heavy traffic Xmas Wink,

Can I ask, how much does an Eastenders cast make? My partner said that Ian makes roughly £100,000 pounds a year. If that's the case, I'm flabbergasted. No wonder the prominent soap characters stay in for many years.

Honestly, Janine has no life. She should be concentrating on getting her daughter back than meddling in Micks and Linda's relationship. Very disappointed, who really goes out all there way to do that?

Some Soap stars do earn a fortune , they often do photo shoots for the glossy mags in beautiful houses and seem very well off to me.
I read once a while ago that Steve McFadden is a millionaire.
