I bloody loved Faye and Gios Sound Of Music number but Faye was a ringer (saw her at Sadlers with KFG doing Singin In The Rain - she was Amazing) so I voted Stace.

I think I need to rematch Bill's dances. I love him as a comedian and was nice to have him not be the comedy act...but I didn't think he was winner material...but then the person I want to win rarely does!

'Twas a weird year last year in lockdown. I think the public needed something from Strictly and Bill and Oti provided it.

Bill was largely seen as cannon fodder, older male given to the dancer who won because he wasn't expected to amount to much. He turned out to have a bit of talent so he gained "oh good on him" momentum

Saw an interview with Shirley. She said how hard Bill Bailey worked - not just learning about the dance steps, but finding out about the history of the dances etc

I think the producers felt rightly that booking Bill was a real coup, and they'd never have got him in any other year. They knew from his musical background and perhaps an audition that he didn't have two left feet, and I imagine that they had high hopes of him being a break-out star like Ed Balls, though you wouldn't necessarily have put money on him actually winning.

So do I, and if I remember right, the Oti/Bill cc clearly took a lot of inspiration from that dance

I loved Charles and Karen's CC.

Bill really FELT the music last year, HRVY and Maisie Smith who were the competition just didn't have his soul - technically fine but boring. His Rapper's Delight is my fave SCD dance of all time

Oh god, what are Adam Peatys family doing?! Adam was very gracious in defeat, he was never going to win unfortunately.. why are his mum & sister being knobs on Twitter 🙈😂 They clearly aren’t used to him losing, I dread to think what they’ve said to fellow competitors in the past 😬😂

At last a professional dancer who isn't dressed up like an Xmas tree to present Choreography Corner! Erin was even wearing ALMOST sensible shoes!! Most importantly she gave very good, constructive criticisms. Yes Erin Boag for Head Judge. The Du Bekes would add class!!!

I agree about Erin’s clothes. She looked very nice and appropriate for the time of day.

I’m not a fan of strapless shiny dresses at 6.30pm. Makes me feel cold looking at them!

Those dresses that Janette ( I do like her by the way , perhaps it's the 'dresser" ) wears sometimes have very strangely designed bottoms ( a bit like baggy nappies) !

I dislike almost everything Janette wears. Maybe she doesn't choose them but they are so over the top for an early evening show.

Bill and Oti were a delight. It made my year that they won. He is so musical and they clearly adored each other.

Not just Zoe but Claudia, I seem to remember, used to go for skinny jeans or trews and a sparkly jumper –Strictly-esque but practical too. I'm not mentioning the skyscraper heels

I used to marvel ai Ian Waite's trousers. They were practically sprayed on.

Ian's trousers were even tighter than Rylan's.

Janette often wears things that are too tight for her. Where she finds them I don't know, they must be a size -2, she is so tiny. Makes me feel like I can't breathe myself.
