Emma is like an overgrown toddler in her dungarees and her ditziness there's no way someone like Curtis would go for her.

Just catching up on last night… Debbie is turning into a really good character. I also enjoyed that we got a mention of Kevin and Alison’s baby boy - I’m guessing the writers have been watching ITV3 in the afternoons!

Did anyone else find it odd that Sally kept talking about ‘my neighbour Maria’ to Fergus, without ever once saying, ‘You know, Gary’s wife [Gary being the father of Izzy’s son]’?

I agree about Debbie - hope she stays.

And Debbie remembered that Kevin had a baby who died which is more than Kevin did a few years back. Really hope Debbie stays she’s a good actress playing a really good character.

Afraid I find her unpleasant and interfering. Can't stand the way she swaggers round with that big handbag over her arm!

Debbie is one of the better actresses definitely!

And everyone seems to have forgotten that she was in cahoots with Ray and wanted to bulldoze the street!

I like Debbie too. Hopefully they won't find her a love interest, she is just fine as she is. (I know she is sort of seeing Ronnie, but thats going nowhere).

I agree @Clawdy but as a character I like her as she has more depth and they haven't turned her into a joke yet (as they seem to do with women of a certain age, thinking of Sally and Gail).

Ooh what's Curtis's beef with Aggie I wonder

It's really hard to tell whether he's a bad actor, it's a dreadful storyline, or something else is going on. But I'm starting to wonder if Curtis is scamming the lovely Emma and there is not much wrong with him.

If that's the case doesn't want Aggie involved because she's a nurse and might ask difficult questions.

It doesn't seem credible that he hasn't had a diagnosis. I thought it was just a ham fisted attempt at 'doomed romance' but now there was a mention of "Oliver's Fund" - is he trying to get the cash "for his treatment" out of Steve via Emma?

The storylining is so shambolic nowadays that it's hard to know.

But didn't Curtis collapse and have his heart condition confirmed by a hospital doctor?

Yep. They seem to have given her a personality change since Ray got arrested. She’s forgotten how she schemed with him all along. Now she’s making out he left her in a mess that she had nothing to do with!

Maybe he has Munchausens, and is pretending to be a medical student. Has he no family? A sibling, a mammy?

They are not doing a very good job of the heart story line at all. Much better have someone we care about, we spend more time discussing if it’s fake or not which I’m guessing wasn’t the intended story line, and doesn’t help patients with same condition. Let’s just end it, Emma can win lotto and they both can go live in USA for treatment no reason either one to stay.

She's got a massive heart though. There's nothing she wouldn't do if she thought it'd help someone she cared about.

Maybe Curtis is after Emma's massive heart seeing as how his is dodgy.

I was also at fact they still have charity money. It’s for the medical research, why is it still in their bank account? They havnt done any fund raising since and ignored our request to publish calendars in real life surely it looks dodgy. No charity handover, no pic in paper that’s raised XX looks well dodgy.

I think the fact that it’s such a large sum of money has confused the scriptwriters. Charity money is usually a brown envelope full of cash that, by pure coincidence, is being managed by someone in crippling debt - swiftly followed by a fake mugging or break-in.

I’m surprised Emma not put tracker on his phone for His safety. Give her 5m she be ringing hospitals.
