What's going on with the emmerdale reference? Emmerdale had a holly oaks one as well?

It's something across all the soaps this week to raise awareness about the environment- I assume to tie in with COP26. Apparently it's a big deal as it's the first time it's been done across UK soaps. It's like a round robin type thing - Emmerdale is in Corrie, Corrie in Eastenders, Eastenders in Hollyoaks and Hollyoaks in Emmerdale.

I don't watch anything other than Eastenders and Corrie (at least for British soaps - I do watch all sorts of other crap TV & am often in Telly Addicts!) but saw it discussed on This Morning a couple of weeks ago!

@woodhill I assume he'll have to 'pay' is father in law for some non-existent service in order to get the money back to him, but quite how he thinks Aliya or his gran won't notice is beyond me!!

I think all needs to do is bank transfer £20k back say and FIL says we sold fridges to them or whatever. The money looks legit so far as FIL accounted concerned legally earned. The money is not fake just can’t prove where come from. Not a problem as such for them as from customers.

Still can’t see how even if do extra £500 a week through till without kitchen wondering how stretch £100 worth rice to triple number of meals.

Emma didn’t even tell Aggie anything just she wanted help him study. Can someone run him over in 4x4 and tragic eco story line plot reaches climax. Street then turns into a low traffic neighbourhood. Job done!

Like a consultancy or something but agree it's a bit difficult if he doesn't control the books etc

Just looked at the actor who plays Jack - he's 14 in real life (according to Wiki) so it's not surprising that he's shot up and his voice breaking!

I'm expecting Stu, the homeless guy, to be working at Roy's by Christmas (whilst playing carols on his guitar round the tree at The Rovers).

14 makes sense for Jack most teens I know by 16 are over 6 foot it’s going be hard convince weather high he’s only 12!

Didn't some of his equipment fall into the chasm, which nobody mentions. If there was a massive killer drain in our street I'd expect some sort of Danger Keep Out fence and people to tut about the inconvenience.

My local Heron foods does a curry pie- best of both worlds. Abi calling Jack a 'poor mite' and having to look after him because of earache and later telling him to choose a cake at Roys so she could have a private convo with Nina... can the scriptwriters not see that he isn't a 5 year old?
