Him from The Kumars told Zeedan he wanted all the money back NOW - and when Zee said that was ridiculous, Mr Kumar suggested he should burn down Speed Daal for the insurance. He did, but not knowing that Yasmeen had given the keys to Stu (as you do) so that he could cook a sample meal to persuade Zeedan to give him a job. Zeedan rescued Stu, but Alya is furious and wants nothing more to do with him.
Bernie told Aggie about Grace leaving the little ‘un on her own. Aggie went potty and threatened Grace with social services. Grace said she doesn’t even want Glory and will sell her to Aggie and Ed for £20k. Ed wants to do it; Aggie quite sensibly pointed out that they haven’t got a pot to piss in, but somehow you just know they’ll find the money from some magical source.
Phil moved in with Fiz for a few days while he has the bathroom done, but for some reason brought everything he owns, including a giant potted palm. Phil’s mum turned up and was (supposedly) posh. Fiz blurted out that Ruby’s real mum ‘was in prison, but she’s dead now’. I laughed. Mama Phil looked understandably confused about who was related to who and how, and how they all fit into a tiny terrace.
Curtis told his dad that he’s told Emma everything and she’s dumped him. Curtis told Emma that his mother is an evil harpy who has disowned him. Emma did her sad, concerned look.
There was some nonsense about Daniel, Summer, a poetry assignment and an inflatable snowman. Max thinks they’re having it off.
