Re floor picnic, yes I hesitate before I typed that but what I meant was a hard stage floor , not a nice grassy river bank. If something says get ready for the theatre and I end up on a hard floor with no show, I’m a bit miffed. I would be expecting somethings to happen, a performance just for us, for example. Why a theatre?

I now can't stand Melissa as much as I can't stand Bruce, dear God, she'd ha e been happy if they'd matched her with a door 🙄 I can't bear the smirks she does and the pleading looks into his eyes every time he talks to her. I’m guessing it’s to give Melissa news about “the gift” which Sam would have heard from a producer ”friend” in Canberra. Producers will want Melissa to find out about the gift on camera not after the show!

The thing I hate most about final dates is all the fawning ‘I can’t believe he went to all this effort for me, he’s so thoughtful’ over and over when we all know the husbands did sod all.

I’m guessing the dates are more underwhelming due to covid? Does anyone know when this series was filmed? I get the impression it’s around now or just after Xmas the series are aired in Oz so maybe filmed June July 2020?
I also wonder do they spend 7 days a week together for the full 6 weeks or is it only a few days a week? I’d love to know some of the insider secrets like that. I really don’t like the apartments this year. They seem quite dark and very small too, some being studio apartments and not even a separate bedroom!

The weddings happened October 2020 so I think this will be around January time by now
