I’ve just had covid, I was out of isolation last Sunday. I’m still not feeling well 😩 I still feel like I have stinking cold & I still can’t stop coughing 2 weeks later. Certainly couldn’t be doing Strictly at this stage!

My back is wincing at the thought of doing a rumba.

I guess I'm imagining the most painful would be any dance where there's jumping and bouncing and impact (so jive/samba/quickstep, off top of my head). Rumba is at least done pretty much on the floor IYSWIM.

Yes I'm wondering the same!!

My sister had covid in July and even now can't get up the stairs without getting out of breath. She certainly wouldn't have been up for dancing every single day straight after!

Re : Judi, I do wonder as well if Graziano could potentially test positive in the next few days and then what would happen? If he's out, would Judi get a stand in.. or be out?

Has it been said whether she has symptoms? I guess she could be asymptomatic and feel up to practising on her own via zoom in the meantime..

This is the sort of optimistic attitude I like. And I reckon we aren't the only Mumsnetters who would contribute to the GoFundMe page

I luffs Adam Peaty, he's intelligent (Katya looks at him incredulously) he's effin' fit (in both ways!!) (the octopus says) He might lift the glitter ball (if there 's anyone left to compete with) and if the final dance suits him.

Weirdly Adam Peaty leaves me completely cold which seems to go against the general grain.

I was pleasantly surprised by Adam in Week One but he's being a one-trick pony, so far. (The same could be said for Rhys.) I've never been a fan of Katya's choreography, it being all fur coat and no knickers, e.g. that press-up move in the quickstep just seemed to interrupt the flow of the dance, and I think her celebs often seem so preocuppied by some big trick that they've got to pull off that they lose the rest of their performance. It's only Week Five so he could prove me wrong. I'm not averse to the Designated Hunk doing well, but Kelvin could also pull off a classic quickstep and a characterful charleston, and Danny, well, Danny could do everything.

Has it been confirmed if there will definitely be a dance off this weekend?

Not confirmed, but it was discussed on ITT and they haven't said there won't be one, so there will.

Sara has been given hair extensions for this week (saw on Instagram) for the rumba, longer hair really suits her!! Takes years off her IMHO 🤷🏻‍♀️

Kelvin and Danny both had the advantage of Oti. Plus Danny was a natural dancer.

Adam has muscles and can do big lifts, but I haven't seen much dance ability yet.
